Revised wishlist:

1. Da'Quan Bowers- you find a place for him, play him as a hybrid, or a 5 technique
2. Brooks Reid
3. Ryan Mallett
4. Justin Houton- A long shot, but he has the skills to be special
5. Kyle Rudolph

Any of these guy would be a great vaule and fill a significant hole... I think Oline is the biggest need, but no Olineman worthy of #38 pick imo...

ANYTIME has it right except for Ayers. Do not want him, too soft.

Yeah I wouldn't take him in the high 2nd round, late 2 to 3 is more like it. Good athlete, but he spent his last year at UCLA trying to avoid contact presumably to be healthy for the NFL, and he's not as good a pass rusher as he should be.

If he'd run 4.6 or under he'd probably be off the board by now but basically people are saying he wasn't productive enough to overlook the 40 time not being blinding fast.

I know you are objective, but coming from a UCLA fan to not want your pro team to draft him here puts perspective on it... I didn't list him for those exact reasons, but I have this pit feeling he will be the pick...

The best fits for what we need in an OLB/DE: Sheard and Houston. Either player is good with me. Sheard is the best fit of all...although I love Dontay Moch as well, but in a varied role as rover.

Early rumors are Pats will actually keep their pick and Ayers is the guy they are targeting with the #33 pick.

Well as I've said several times I think Ayers is a TE playing LB, I mean that in 2 ways. I think he can play TE at the NFL level and be pretty good, he's got remarkable hands for a LB. And I think he has always been a guy who wasn't overly physical.

It's a discussion that went on UCLA boards his last 2 years there, he'd be a better TE than a LB/DE.

I just don't think he's one of those natural defenders, he runs himself out of so many plays trying to run around the block.

Sheard too. I am getting nervous. He's the missing puzzle piece, imo.

Yup. I hope the Pats trade down because Sheard fits their profile ( Sr., team captain, hard worker etc)
