Yes, he was a CB before.

He is STRICTLY a special teams player. He will compete at gunner, but there is A LOT of competition for the gunner position this year, and NO ONE is supplanting Justin Bethel, so there is even less.

The sixth round pick Walt Powell is supposedly a really good gunner. Maybe we will finally have a replacement LSH on the punt team.
