Class act and looks as though his parents were great people. I hope he wins the game and is able to feel like he lived his mother's dream.

Damm this is one helluva story... There are so many on this team. All of this truly demonstrates just how incredibly difficult it is to get to this stage in pro sports...
It makes what teams like the Pats, Steelers, 9ers & Cowboys (back in there day) have all done... Even teams like the Bills and Eagles, who never won a Championship but get to high levels on a consistent basis... It's so effin HARD!!!

I love our team. I love our franchise. I love our fans, our owners and our stadium... I love that I happened to be around when this Cards team did what they did!

Terrelle Smith - I love you too buddy!!

Key block by Smith on the 4th down conversion is a big reason the Cards. He's also teed off on a couple pass rushers that were chasing down Warner when he was forced out of the pocket a couple times.

You beat me to it. Smith got a nice block on a db to spring Hightower on that 4th down. Huge play!

When Smith was at ASU, he was simultaneously the best linebacker and fullback on the team. J.R. Redmond owes him at least half of his signing bonus, because Smith made that guy an All-Pac-10 back. Smith could have easily made an NFL roster as an inside linebacker. His collisions at practice are legendary. Maybe only Fulcher matched Smith pound for pound as a hitter, and Fulcher went on to become an All-Pro safety!

Don't stop there.

If you watch the replay, take time to watch him during the game. He might have had the best game of his career.

She was subtly wrong about one thing... he's going to play in THE biggest game in Arizona Cardinals history.

Heck, he already did. He's just going to top it in 12 days.

Great story... and now another guy I just have to root for.

I started paying attention for Warner, but now it's like half the team.
