I just like to thank the Suns for giving us fans an exciting season. I did not think the Suns without Amare would have had a successful season as they did. I can't wait until next year when the Suns will have a healthy Amare. It should be an interesting offseason.

By the way, go Heat.:)

I am proud of you Boys!!!

I never thought you could have this kind of season without Amare and Kurt. Back to Back MVP. Diaw, most of us thought he was a stiff. What a season!!

Thank you boys!!

We could have won the series had Raja not gone down... We were really playing with 6 players after that and that is just too much for any team. Credit them to still be in most of the games, blowing them out in game 4.

I want Final. Yes, I am a bitch.

Great season but not enough result for my taste. I hate losing to Mark Cuban... god, just look at his face.

The Suns somehow overachieved. So, I'm not as sad as I thought I'd be after the loss.

As I said before the way the team is composed of and how the rotation is so short plus without a true go-to scorer, it's only a question of time till they were worn down physically. Without legs, no 3s, no real spreading of the floor, they will be forced into one-on-one's at some point in the playoff. Last year, Spurs won this way vs us despite the heroics of Amare. This year, it's already a miracle that we passed by the Clippers.

Some people may say, it's just bad luck that Bell got injured. But I see it as inevitable due to the heavy min. asked for the starters. Marion didn't have much energy this game; besides LB, nobody could hit the 3s due to tired legs; no fresh energy from the bench; JJ never got the touch in the playoffs, etc.

On the other hand, Mavs' whole team are much better one-on-one players on average, Dirk, Howard, JT, Stack, Harris. They will always find someone whose 1-1 game works, with Dirk being the reliable last resort like Barkley in his prime. And with our legs gone, this advantage allowed them to creep back for the win.

To avoid the same fate next year, we gotta expand the bench and get some more players capable of certain level of one-on-one games, say, at least better than Marion's. We also need to play a longer rotation in the regular season to give the bench players experience and confidence. Can our 9th man as good as Griffin or Daniels of the Mavs? We really need that insurance too.

Go Suns!

Great season and most of these guys gave it their all, even with the injuries piling up.

But still its getting tiring not getting that trophy.

We're always so close, but not close enough.

How long have you been a Suns fan? How did you come about being one?

I grew up rooting for the Knicks. Now I've been out here 22 yrs. and have followed the Suns since the old days on McDowell.

This team is wonderful.

They exceeded all of my expectations, from winning the division, to making it to the WCF, MVP and MIP.

Who knew they could achieve as much as they did.

They showed heart, courage and a determined nature in the face of one calamity after another.

Peace and blessings to the entire team.

Couldn't agree with you more. This is a team that many picked to take a fall, especially after the loss of Amare. Instead, they bound as a team and managed to face injury after injury and managed to get to the NBA Western Conference Finals, far exceeding any expectations.

2006 was a great year, but stealing a line from American Pie, here's to the next step!

I agree with it all. It has been a great year and this team overachieved, but I still feel dissappointed that they didn't win it all. Oh well you can never outlast your critics... no matter how much this team excelled there were always those doubters out there. I am so damn proud of this team...

After the injuries, the Suns overachieved tremendously. They can be very proud of their accomplishments this season.

But playing small, playing seven deep, and run'n'gun causes fatigue, and it's what ended our dream.

Recognizing that flexibility would round out the team -- during the season -- might have allowed us to hold on to a 15 point lead in Game 6 . . . then take the finale on the Mav's home court.

If we had made the Finals, Kurt Thomas probably would have seen significant playing time against Shaq. But changing the offensive chemistry for one series hurts a team.

I hope the Suns make themselves a more well-rounded team next season -- all season long. If so, Championship here we come.
