Beanie Wells didn't receive a single carry in Week 17 versus the 49ers.

Wells ended up with no video to put on his "audition for 31 other teams" tape as he sat behind William Powell and La'Rod Stephens-Howling. Wells only started seven games in 2012 due to toe and knee injuries. He rushed 88 times for just 234 yards (2.7 YPC) and five touchdowns. Most of that production came in Week 15 against the Lions. Wells is signed for a cheap $1,157,500 in 2013, but he will almost certainly be let go. He's only 24 years old, but he ran like he was 34 this season. Wells is strictly a plodder at the moment, and he needs to search for the fountain of youth in the offseason. He is only one year removed from a 245-carry, 1,047-yard, ten-touchdown season in 2011, though.

He's just uncoordinated from the waste down. You can get away with that in college but not here. When we drafted him you heard "top 10 talent" thrown around. Well now we know why an elite college player dropped to us.

Why wouldn't you keep him at that price? Especially if Whiz is fired.

No way, Beanie is a cancer who only cares about himself. His remarks this week were screaming "look at me" that's who I care about.

After the comments in the media and sticking his foot in his mouth it serves him right.

Well he is on the sideline alot. So the audition tells quite a bit about him.

I'm not going to hate on the guy because I have no clue what the real story is. Yes, I've seen him on the field and yes it's been disappointing... but hate?? no thanks

without a doubt the biggest cancer on the team. He's been killing this franchise for 4 years now. They may never recover from it.

He will have at least 1 - 2000 yard season and beat the living hell out of defenders persistantly and deliberately for the next 5 years- for the Cardinals or someone else.

Just like Cardinals in Arizona first round RB picks Hearst and Jones-He is very angry for being benched after that fumble last week- so indifference is not his problem- Beanie cares.

He has faith in himself rather Whiz does or not- With Whiz's track record after Cards fans showed trust in him- I'll continue to side on faith in Beanie!

With a side of Beans! ! TD every 18 carries is valuable- more valuable than -none by other- over the last few games!

There is some serious overreaction going on here. Beanie is a good back who opened his mouth at the wrong time. So what.

Are you Beanie's mom? Only a mother talks like this.

Crazy talk. He's been a POS from day 1. He probably sould have been cut after the pre-season in '09. Once people got a look at his skinny calves you know he was a bust.

I mean c'mon, any back would would have run for 1000 yards behind that Cards OL last year. Especially when you had a QB like John Skleton to make the defenses respect the pass so much. 10 TD's pffffffft, Hightower would have had 16 if they would have kept him. Hell, the ghost of Leeland McElroy would have had 12.

The league is just plain lucky that Ryan Williams got injured in pre-season. Otherwise, you wouldn't have heard about AP chasing Eric Dickerson's record. He wouldn't have even been close to the 2300 yards Williams would have put up last year.

Lol good stuff. Have to remember Wells was in the Wiz doghouse almost immediately. I can't wait to move on to a coach that works to bring guys up instead of knock em down

Why can't you admit you were wrong?

I predicted 2500 yards rushing for William Powell and that Ryan Lindley would be Super Bowl MVP before the season started. I was just a LITTLE BIT wrong!

Wow, that was so easy, and feels so cleansing!

Yeah, and people bashed McGinnis and Green for being too soft on players. I want a guy who wins, and can handle each player differently as needs be.
