Lakers played really well. There was a stretch in the 2nd half when they couldn't miss anything.

Bynum looks good. Kinda like another 19 year old NBA prodigy that BIM hates. I sure hope Bynum doesn't cheat on his girlfriend or BIM might start Suns cheering.

Lakers play GS tonight in The City. Not too far of a trip, so hopefully the Lakers arent hung over.

AP reports that Coach Jackson didnt make the trip up north and the team will be coached by Kurt Rambis.

Brian Cook was pulled out of the layup line prior to Tuesday night's game in order to sign a three-year contract extension prior to the 8:00 PM deadline.

There is some speculation that Kobe may not return until the 11/17 game against Toronto.

Andrew Bynum's ankle was xray'd and came back negative. He is day to day.

Bynum did look good....but don't get your hopes up. The Suns won't guard anyone on the interior. See if he can put it together tonight in GS, as well.

He'll have his fair share of growing pains, no doubt...but the kid is a natural leader and fundamentally skilled player. A big man with the light body of Hakeem combined with the court awareness and passing ability of Shaq? Sign me up....

Yeah, he's going to suck in several games this year...but the kid has heart.

I thought Kurt Thomas was supposed to toughen up the Suns frontcourt defense?
That's the plan. There were times that Phil was just coming with a huge lineup that they obviously couldn't match up with.

More of what I was shocked by was how easily the Suns were letting the Lakers cut to the basket.

Bynum’s passing is what surprised me the most. I expected him to have his way against us down low and on the boards, but his passing was quite surprising.

I don't remember Shaq having that passing ability at LSU. And I consider Shaq one of the best passing big men in recent memory, even if he is a lazy, moneygrubbing piece of crap.

What I like about Bynum is where he is right now in terms of ability and mind...as he grows (and he could add another inch or two as well) and develops his game, he should only get better...but he's a fundamentally sound player to start with and that's a great building block.

I am very excited about this team. We dont have a bad seed on it. Our youngsters are getting great playing time right now with all the injuries; time which should help us in the dog days of Feb/March.

Mo Evans is looking like an absolute steal for a second rounder.
Turiaf had the game of his life last night and Odom is averaging nearly a triple double.

Strong 3Q last night, especially from Ronny to get the road win. Very nice.

Kobe may play Friday.

This team is also getting back on defense better than they used to. Still had a lot of careless passing though.

It's good to see the team playing strong in the 3rd quarter the last two games. Poor play in the 3rd just killed the Lakers last season.

Saw bits and pieces of the Lakers-Warriors game last night. Very impressed so far with LA, Lamar Odom seems to have finally turned that corner after a decade in the league. The guy always had all the talent in the world, time wil tell if he can be consistent.

Ronny Turiaf had just buttoned his shirt after the best game of his NBA career when his cell phone rang.

Kobe Bryant couldn't travel to the Los Angeles Lakers' latest victory, but the injured star clearly didn't miss a minute of Turiaf's breakout performance.

"I told you! I told you!" Turiaf said into the phone, breaking into a wide grin. "You're crazy. Thanks for the advice."

Whatever Bryant has told his teammates while he's sitting out, it's working.

Kobe is a cancer and the Lakers are better without him.

Sincerely,
The Uninformed

"I can play basketball. I don't have just cheerleading skills," Turiaf said. "If you play hard, good things are going to happen. I'm just happy and I'm thankful for the opportunity I have."

Lights Out is here to stay!! Awesome!

Plugged in: After receiving ``unanimous’’ feedback in support of their new lighting system, the Lakers have decided to adopt it for the rest of the season. They will use temporary lights until a permanent system can go up in January.
