When I saw you posted in here, I was wondering if you were going to comment on whether you thought they'd do better or worse than last time.

Did Shaq play last time? What's your reasoning for the better outcome? Is this one home vs. last one away?

Shaq played last time, I don't think he will play this time with his grandma's funeral.

They are also playing away instead of at home. All of the signs point that it should be worse than last time, but I don't think so.

So it's just a gut feeling? Cool. Your gut was pretty accurate last time.

They have had a couple defensive lapses in games they took a little too lightly. There is no need to panic, not by a long shot. The Lakers are head and shoulders above the Suns and I have NO doubt they will prove it beyond a doubt yet again tonight. I'll be surprised if the game is still competitive in the 3rd quarter.

I guess we'll find out in about 15 minutes.

Maybe I spoke too soon, the defense in the 1st quarter looks pathetic to put it mildly. Yeah, they're winning, they will likely win the game, but they still aren't playing very well. They really need to pick up the defensive effort and try to keep Phoenix under 100. They are far superior to their opponent talent wise, they need to play like it.

Glad we're winning, but so far after the 1st quarter, I'm not happy at all.

Just more of the same. I am supremely pissed off at this team. They started out this season playing defense as if their lives depended on it. Then they adjusted to where they played lax for a half, then played lights out defense in the second half (dallas game). Then they played D for a quarter. Now they play hard for about a 3 minute stretch, if that (which sealed the suns game).

They aren't winning crap if they keep this up. They can go 79-3 for all I care, but unless they iron this "defense is neat, but not necessary" mindset, they will be bounced in the playoffs, and possibly before the Finals.

They are no longer a team overachieving...they have championship talent...championship defensive ability. They will piss me off unless they at least act like they give a crap about D.

1 point loss to the Pacers. 2 point win against the woeful Wizards. Ass kicking at the hands of the Queens missing their top scorer. Barely beating the suns AT HOME when they didn't have Shaq, Bell or Diaw in a day where a trade went down the day AFTER they got beat by a crappy Queens team.

They are showing me absolutely nothing. A stellar regular season record is fun, but at the end of the day you can wipe your ass with it if you don't win the title.

I was pretty much going to say the same things Donald said. Heartless and gutless effort tonight, I'm about as pissed as I can possibly be after a win.

At this rate, this team will cruise through the West, get the #1 seed, tear though the playoffs, get to the finals against Boston or Cleveland and get embarrassed.. again.

The lakers look stupid.

Tied at the half with the Queens. Missing free throws like they would get killed if they made one.

Atrocious defense.

Idiots.

Better in the third at least. Up 11 late in the 3rd with Ear Jordan at the line, who misses both. :bang:

That first half was embarrassing.

Unbelievable. They let them close to three points late in the fourth before turning on the jets to win by 9.

Team dimmerswitch. :bang:

Shot a shaq-like 60% from the FT line as a team. 21-35. Outstanding.

Surprisingly, I don't. Powell is a much, much, much better rebounder with a good shot. And he hardly plays anyway.

I wonder if Ronny can get into the clubs in SF, since he never could in LA. :D

We need more of that.

Where is the fire?

Where is the spit and mud?

Where is the confrontation?

it only happens when Lakerfans visit the Suns board. Then people lose their faces in anger. If we went there and posted something, people would get bent. But most Suns fans don't pop in here.

The suns need to start turning it around to get that spit and fire back. A decent Laker team and great Suns team = a bunch of smack. A decent Suns team and great Laker team and it's crickets. I think it is a microcosm of Phoenix fans in general (not us diehards, but most). It's only worth fighting for when we are winning.

I do find it interesting though, that with a great Laker team, you don't have a bunch of Lakerfans stalking the Suns board.

Seriously, don't over think it.
It's the smack board.

That being said;

Your kids in Cardinals gear = adorable.

Your kids in Lakers gear = not so much.

A) My daughter talks smack to Cowboys fans at her school. Point of emphasis...I didn't even initiate this..I don't hate the cowboys..that was on her own dime. pretty solid move by her.

B) My daughter talks smack to Spurs fans at her school. I do encourage this, but again it was on her own dime. Not initiated by me. She only mildly talks smack to Suns fans. This is also encouraged by me. I told her that the Suns aren't atrocious, but we love to beat them to see them cry. She detests the Celtics and I think she's got her two favorite teams down solid...the Lakers, and whoever is playing the Celtics that night.

C) My daughter is adorable in her Minnesota Lakers shirt, as is my son in his lakers jacket.

D) Lakers repeat WC Champs...something the Suns would throw a parade for and take a week off of work.

Donald, calm down.
Take a deep breath.
