Still won't make it out of the East. They can't get by the Bulls, Magic, Celtics and maybe even the Knicks. If they limp into the Finals (no way in hell) they will be dead and won't be squeaking out wins against LA or San Antonio.

And if they can't win it in the second year, they will melt down in glorious fashion. THAT is going to be awesome to watch.

And everyone in Miami just broke their ankles climbing back on the bandwagon.

Heat playing well and killing it on defense the last three games.

All the Laker and Celtic and Bulls fans can say "well there is no way they make it out of the East" and granted getting through that gauntlet will be very tough.

But the Heat will have the best two players on the floor at any given time and in the playoffs when the game slows down, they are going to do well.

I think the Celts are the favorite ONLY because they have shown they can do it together before, but they are old as dirt and that will likley be more apparent come June.

And the Bulls arent the best matchup but I don't see the Heat losing to them.

Heat have just good a chance of getting to the Finals as the Lakers or Boston.

Just wait. In a month everyone will be talking about the Heat.

And it will be Lakers/Heat or Lakers/Boston in the Finals. The NBA is so predictable its almost boring. Anyone who wants to argue the stats and semantics, I'll place you on hold and we'll talk again in July. People get so caught up in the here and now and what happened the past few weeks and overreact and over genralize.

The Heat will be fine. And if they don't win it this year, they are the favorites for the forseeable future any way.

Personally as a fan with no horse in that stake, I would be super excited for the ECF and the Finals provided those are the teams.

And they haven't won jack yet either.

The Bulls look beatable.. The Celtics dont seem to have the same swag as years before.. Orlando only has Howard..

This road to the Finals is looking better every day.. Go Heat!

IMO, the Heat would be a .500 team in the West. I figured they would be better than they are.

funny how all the Heat haters have seemed to disappear.

Donald... "the Heat won't even make it to the Conference Finals"... "not cocky. realistic".

Just as laughable now as it was when you made those comments.

Oh, they won the series already? Wow, I didn't realize that winning your first two games means the series is over. Oh wait. It doesn't. It means you held home court. Like you were supposed to do. Now Boston gets to go home for two games.

This comes back to Miami 2-2. Boston in 6 or 7. Hinges on Game 5. Miami won't win a game in Boston.

Miami held court...whoopie. Hand them a title.
