I would trade Chriss for Porzingis hands down, I'd include Jackson in that deal also but would try to use every option available to keep from including him. I don't think there has been a minute since Chriss has been drafted that I wouldn't make that deal. Porzingis is one of the few players I'd consider trading for Booker for. I wouldn't do it straight up but I'd consider it.

You've got to trade Book for Porzingis if you get the chance... or for KAT. Beyond them I'd have weigh it carefully.

Kris taps has scored over 30 in like 5 of 6 games he's coming into his own now. If you were gonna get him out of NY the time was last year

I don't think there was ever a time when New York would have moved him for anything but the moon, imagine what it would take to even entertain the idea of moving Booker. I love Booker, but Kristaps ceiling is higher... and he is better right now. I cannot fathom the offer required to get him without also including Booker.

I think they wanted #3 and a combo of young talent

Lauri Markkanen looks like the real deal. Averaging 15.6 and 9.6, shooting nearly 42% from 3.

I think that is what we fantasized they wanted. I don't think he was ever on the market.

What I remember people floating was our pick, plus Bledsoe, plus Bender or Chriss and probably the Miami picks too. And we take back some bad contracts.

I still think the Knicks would have said no.

Not if Phil Jackson didn't get fired. People forget that one of the reasons he was fired was because he was very close to trading Porzingis to us.

Funny Jah. If workable trade have been on the table, don't you think you would be gone by now. You are sitting at the end of the bench. They have not picked up your option which means they are going to let you walk. That means that the only trades on the table were ones where they would have had to take back unwanted salary or give up assets to move you.

Much better rebounder in the NBA than I expected, he still doesn't block shots but he's a terrific overall player.

Unicorns are all the rage in the NBA.

Looks like we have our own in Bender. A 7-1, 3 point shooting, defender all over the court.

Honestly say I didn't see it in Lauri but looks like I'm wrong he can fill it up. Hopefully he keeps it up

What has impressed me about him is that he is not afraid to take to the hoop too. Once they get LaVine back and Dunn gets into playing shape, he will get more open shots too.

Waht will be interesting to watch with him is does it hold up over a season. In college he had a midseason slump that looked like fatigue, not unusual for a freshman of course and not unusual for a rookie in the NBA to have one too.

I knew he was a terrific shooter and had the size, but he's even better than I expected.

We'll probably end up trading him for a lottery pick and take the next Tyson Chandler only to give up on him too soon. Elton Brand, cough..cough...

I assume you are talking about Laurie not Bender.
