Why would that be better? If the Miami picks ends up the worse of the 2 we'd have made that trade for literally nothing. If we made the first version of the trade we keep both regardless.

I think he was saying that would be better because it is more likely to happen. Even then, I question that the Cavs would give up that pick for Bledsoe. If you're Cleveland, you have to consider the possibility that pick turns into Doncic, Bagley, Ayton or Porter, in which case you had better love what you got back. They already have Rose and IT (whom I also think they would not relinquish in a trade unless there was an agreement like the one mentioned...and I'm not sure if that is allowed under the rules?), so I can't imagine Bledsoe would be worth that much to them, unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong!

The Rockets have been in competitive games in 3 of the first 4 nights. In those 3 games Mike D has given players outside the top 8 of his rotation a grand total of 14 minutes. Fearless prediction! The Rockets are going to 'flame out' earlier than whatever regular season pace they put forth would indication. Also! I predict that in close games throughout the year those numbers will only constrict even more.

maybe fewer back to backs well lessen the minutes played by the 8 in the rotation. Or will the minutes still add up in the end?

Watching them play DET last night, he looked lost and killed the rotations he was in. He can't shoot, defend, or consistently run offense right now.

Ball hasn't shot well, but he's contributing to his team in other ways at least. If you haven't seen him, Fultz looks broken.

Something is big-time wrong with Fultz. He might be injured. I really thought that Ball would be better than Fultz. I could not get past the team success factor.

It always surprised me Fultz was drafted #1 when he was out injured at University of Washington for a number of games and there was such a small sample of games to evaluate him. IMO, the best point guards to draft early in the draft were Ball and Fox.

The thing is, it's not like PHI has shown hesitation of sitting their top draft pick out for injury issues. If he were injured, then just sit him. It's so suspicious.

Nice, for a kid who's been working with shooting coaches for years it appears he finally has a good shooting stroke going, 5-5 on 3's and it looks natural not forced.

I think it depends on the player. Gordon was flawed but he's always been a max effort guy and coachable.

If he plays the 4 primarily and can sustain his jumpshot he could be a dangerous all around Player. Still 22.
