Whatever it took a historic performance from the Cavs and lots of early help from the refs with the 20+ FTs in the first quarter for them to get a win. And the game still got tight late until every chucked up 3 went in for the cavs. Irving is great at home no shock but his game rarely travels. It was a must win for them so of course they could play freely and chuck 3s all night they had nothing to lose. Expect a focused GS team on Monday to end this series! Lebron is impossible to defend especially in Cleveland where you can't breathe on the guy or it's an and 1. And Green did nothing in this game to warrant a T it was nonsense they even called the one they did on him. Shoot LBJ was up in Duranta grill talking all kinds of smack no T given but Green waves a hand after a terrible call and the back judge Ts him up? That's right the ref right there doesn't even call a T it comes from some clown across the court, ridiculous. You can't tell me refs can't control the flow or outcome of a game with these BS calls or non calls. Lebron could be called for offensive fouls on many of his barreling drive to the basket where he simply runs people over, yet usually gets and 1s out of it geesh. GS plays pretty basketball, skillful basketball it's hard not to like them. Cleveland looks lost without Lebron and even with him it's lebron ISO so much it's ugly to watch. They were given a title last year when the refs decided to let them play tackle basketball, GS hasn't forgotten and will come out on a mission Monday! Screw the whiny LBJ and Cleveland they got their courtesy championship last year. No one but Cleveland fans believe they were the best team because they weren't.

Just my opinion. I get the old Spurs being ******* and dirty. They needed that to give them an edge because they weren't wildly talented. Doesn't mean I didn't hate them... but I understood why they did it.

This team is too talented to be this dirty. It's lame.
So two players with what you deem questionable actions= a dirty team?

There have been questionable actions by Cavs as well, yet you remain silent?

Furthermore, fans are so sensitive these days that every team from 80's to mid 90's would be considered dirty teams.

The stuff that happens in today's NBA would be considered pillow fights during previous eras.

Green should've been given a flagrant for elbowing Shumpert in the head and a technical for the way he reacted. At least he's not kicking guys in the nuts anymore. #babysteps

Refs "cannot" tech final's players out of games. If they did they would not have their contract renewed.

after a terrible call

Man, do you even know the rules of basketball??? His body was all over his man, in the air, pushing him forward. In no league in any planet on earth is that anything other than a personal foul.

Green is a piece of garbage, he could get called for a foul during warm-ups and I'd be OK with it.

Elbow to head and multiple people targeting groin and you deem those "questionable? Remind me never to play anything with you on the opposing team.

The Cavs have no room to complain period they get away with murder on Curry, Durant, Thompson with very few calls! It's the only reason they were able to beat them last finals. GS is a better team period. When you have to set multiple records just to beat them it shows. I'll be impressed if the Cavs can even come close to playing like they did last night again.

Each team has shot exactly 100 free throws in this series. Durant and Curry have 13 more FTA's than Lebron and Kyrie.

The NBA is reviewing several incidents from last night's game, I'm told. Zaza Pachulia swipe at Shumpert is among them. Standard protocol.

No, shots to the groin and elbows to the head were not taken lightly in the early 90s and 80s, the difference isn't in the fans perspective its that a play like that back then was followed by a more severe retaliation... like Bill Laimbeer sending someone into the 3rd row or dudes just flat out trading punches. Now the players cannot police themselves or they risk a series altering suspension, so guys like Green get away with this freaking trash relatively scot-free.

I'm not an NBA fan stopped watching awhile back. I have tried to watch this series because I have a friendly wager with my nephew who is a huge GS fan.

My take away for what it worth the refs were horrible to the point the NBA should be embarrassed they let that game get so out of control there should have been multiple ejections from both teams,.

I see alot of GS is a bunch of dirty players talk which is true but I think some of that can be credited to the Cavs playing less then what I would call a clean game and starting alot of the crap. 2nd guy always get caught.

I hope they clean it up so far it has been an entertaining series and may get me to watch a Suns game or two next year.

Because that means anything? That's the biggest load of crap oh the numbers are similar, that doesn't mean they aren't holding and clutching Curry and Durant constantly. Watch how they defend it's ridiculous grab em hold them knock them down, it's Spurs thug ball bull$&@t, do it every time they can't call all of them so that's what thy do. In a clean officiated game GS wins every time and it's rarely close! They know the only way they have a chance is to play dirty and hope the refs let them do it. The Cavs initiate most of the BS with their thuggish play. The warriors want to play run and gun similar to the old Suns, they don't want the physical crap that's all Cleveland. This is essentially Suns Spurs all over, the refs need to call it straight so the better team wins. Pretty basketball and offense should be what the NBA wants not thug ISO crap with lebron shooting 40+ times and tons of FTs

Fans of a team with Draymond Green and Zaza calling someone else thugs. Your opinions are brutal.

The Refs clearly set the tone for the game in the first quarter...credit Cavs for capitalizing on it, but the stripes had an agenda in the first quarter. Dubs didn't rise to the occasion enough. But I had several of my Laker pals--who despise the Warriors--texting me: WTF!

Good gravy... you complain about the refs just as much here as you do on the Cards board.

I agree with you to a point. The Suns didn't have the thugs like green or pachuli
