Officiating was terrible. Granted, EVERYTHING else was going for the Cavs, but the refs were clearly helping them out.

LOL. Most objective NBA fans(non-Dubs/Cavs fans) felt the first quarter was an absurd display by the refs. Did the number of fouls even out by the end of the game? Pretty close, but it was the imbalance of the fouls combined with inconsistency in the type of fouls called or not called that left many feeling it wasn't right.

I've literally got no dog in this fight. I saw one team coming out fighting for their life and another ready to party back in the bay.

I don't disagree with this either...Dubs actually cut it to 11 early in the third and wet the bed after. Klay and Curry combined for only 27 points on 29% shooting. Their defense was garbage and you have to wonder if the coach is becoming a cho-Kerr. They've lost 4 consecutive finals close out games. I think Monday is must win, otherwise it will be in their heads.

it's really crazy to think... but if the Cavs can somehow pull off a miracle tomorrow night, it's not out of the realm of possibilities to think they can force a Game 7 with a home win after being down 0-3. I don't think it'll happen, but man, the pressure would be monumental on the Warriors at that point.
but i think this sucker ends tomorrow.

I'm late to the party I was moving we watched the game in a hotel and moved the next morning.
My comments, the first quarter was nuts, all those FT's even with the misses created a tough situation where the Warriors had I think 3 starters with 2 fouls in the first quarter. That said if Cleveland makes 3's at that clip the fouls don't matter, that was an unreal shooting display.
ONe of the reporters behind the bench said they clearly heard the refs say the first T was on Kerr not Green but they assumed they had changed it since everyone was saying Draymond. Doris Burke said she was told the same thing but we of course only know what the TV guys tell us and they kept saying it was on Draymond. My take was it WAS a T whether they called it or not, but ejection as Jon was saying on FB is silly. How come nobody is pointing out what a dirty player Iman Shumpert is? He was pulling Greens arm on that play which is why Green ripped the arm out and whacked him. It was a T I agree, but it was the result of Shumpert grabbing him.
The play by Zaza, I agree should have been a T, possibly an ejection. That said, how in the world was there no foul on the Cavs on that play? They fouled Zaza repeatedly as he was trying to corral the ball. Then Shumpert not only fouled him but jumped on top of him to get the jump ball, which is what led to Zaza's dirty punch. I've been complaining about that for years a loose ball one player jumps on it, the other team jumps on the player and the refs call a jump ball because they think it will prevent an altercation, call the foul, you can't jump on the guy you're supposed to get the ball not the guy with the ball.
I'm in Sacramento now(we moved) and they've been showing plays on the news all weekend of Shumpert's off the ball antics in game 4, he's constantly grabbing people's arms and they had 2 plays where he intentionally knocked a Warrior player down. There's one in transition where Curry is trying to get back on defense and Shumpert just shoved him down with 2 hands. It was similar to the play where Zaza grabbed Love to stop him coming over to challenge a shot but Shumpert literally shoved Curry down. They showed another play where he was grabbing Durant to keep him from coming open on a curly and wound up grabbing him in the family jewels, that was shortly before the play where Durant got hit in the head on a drive and complained and got a flagrant on the Cavs player. I assume that's why Durant got into an argument with LeBron he was mad that Shumpert grabbed his goods.
I thought the game was officiated so poorly that it got out of hand both ways and we're lucky no fights or nobody got hurt.
If the Cavs shoot that well they're tough to beat that was unreal, Love's 3s, Kyrie's drives and LeBron just everything.
I will say this, if they just watch the fouls on Iggy in that game, he had 3 fouls and in every one of them he got fouled by a cleveland player, retaliated, and got the call on him. The old saying they always miss the first one was really true in this game(both ways). I would hope the NBA gives the refs in that game a bad rating. The fouls actually ended up favoring the Warriors but that was largely because Cleveland made so many 3's and shot 45 of them. They took more than half their shots from 3 which doesn't normally lead to fouls.

Not with Draymond Green. He should've been booted for a second tech but the refs squirmed their way out of that game altering call. Zaza also got away with a nut punch somehow on a play that went under video review.

Zaza should've Been tossed, though he only caught thigh with his punch.

Someone probably mentioned this already I am pages behind but the Cavs are now kicking themselves for sure. if they didn't bog down at the end of game 3 and blow the game, it would be 2-2 right now going into tonight. They were in charge much of that game but couldn't close it out.
I do agree if the Warriors lose tonight all the pressure is on them. After blowing a 3-1 lead last year the threat of blowing a 3-0 lead has to be in their heads.
I don't know if the Cavs big 3 plus JR can shoot that well for 3 more games but they were damn near unguardable ingame 4

On the BS podcast Joe House brought up the fact that Mike Callahan has ref'd 12 straight Cleveland wins and the last 3 times the Cavaliers have beaten the Warriors... But the main thrust of the conversation was why the NBA doesn't have its best guys officiating every game, especially with how spaced-out this finals series is.
There's probably no way LeBron gets in foul trouble early, but a general worst-case scenario is the same thing happening tonight as some sort of make-up home cooking.
PS - I don't think there's any reason to be referring to any player as a thug or a b*tch. Especially since some reading the board actually might be sick of being called one or both in real life.
