Just my opinion. I get the old Spurs being ******* and dirty. They needed that to give them an edge because they weren't wildly talented. Doesn't mean I didn't hate them... but I understood why they did it.

@Russ Smith on second thought, I LOVED Danny Ainge on the Suns. Even had a poster of him in my room all the way through college. So, looks like I'M the hypocrite on the dirty play and take back my criticism there.

I don't recall Ainge going at people's legs or delivering flying knees. He walked a line, sometimes crossed it, like when he spiked that ball off Elie's face, he was dirty but I think there are levels of dirty. Ainge was out there trying to antagonize, while dude's like Bowen, Zaza, Green, Pat Beverly, Dellavadova are out there, playing reckless and and trying to hurt people... or at the very least not caring if they do.

And I'm willing to call a spade a spade, Ainge and Raja Bell, loved those guys, but they were antagonists who I'd really dislike if they were against me, while Darnell Docket was a legit dirty player who often made me a queasy to root for.
