Pop takes DA out behind the woodshed... again... WITHOUT PARKER AND KAWAI.

I'm loving this. DA learns absolutely nothing from the past and as usual Pop owns his ass.

Last couple games both Pop and Mike have reaffirmed their definitions.

Just like D'antoni teams to shrivel on the big stage. SMH

Just seemed like Harden was defeated before the game even started. He was so passive. He also keeps using the entire 8 seconds to cross the half court line causing poor temp.

Coaching wise, they finally started double teaming Gasol/LA in the 3rd, while they got abused the entire first half.

No mustache, no matter! Pop owns DA more than any coach has ever owned another.

Yet there will still be those defending D'Antoni and crying about how they miss him, and how the Suns should bring him back.

Just waiting for JustWinBaby to come in here with a steady stream of excuses for DA's latest playoff disaster.

It's odd how often NBA superstars just... give up... in huge moments. Harden tonight, Kobe did it 2 or 3 times in elimination games, LeBron did vs Boston right before he went to Miami.

Worth noting, LeBron put up monster stats in that Boston series but he shot like 30% and turned the ball over like crazy the last few games. But... in his defense, if word reached me that Delonte West was schploinking my mother it would probably put me in a weird place too.

DAntoni has a system that works, but he is so stubborn with it that he is unwilling to make even small adjustments that could produce wins. Kerr implements DAntoni's system better than McD does.

Just a little defensive adjustment here and there. Just a little offensive adjustment based upon players and situation.

That is McD's flaw. He is just completely inflexible.

LeBron did it last year too but then he pulled off a miracle after it. People forget because the Cavs won but in that game 4 loss to the Warriors LeBron spent the last few minutes of the game driving in for layups against a defense conceding layups because they were up double digits and guarding the 3. LeBron had 25 and nearly got a triple double but he put up 8-10 of those points in the last few minutes and after the game the media was all over him. Why was he taking layups and conceding why not at least try and shoot the 3 and see if they could catch up?

And just when the media was all over him for rolling over, he pulled off the impossible and carried his team to a 3 game comeback down 1-3 including that ridiculous chasedown block on Iggy that was one of the most incredible defensive plays in playoff history.

But I guess it wasn't an elimination so it doesn't really fit the criteria.

Harden did the same thing last year in the elimination game...had 11 or 12 turnovers and just completely sucked. Can't believe the Spurs won without Kawhi and Parker...just ridiculous.

I'm assuming you mean D'Antoni but I'm a little thrown off by the bolded sentence. If I'm not misreading can you elaborate? What does McD have to do with anything D'Antoni related?

Its unfortunate Mike gets ALL the blame when his Star player craps the bed in the biggest game of there season. I didnt hear a peep out of you D'Antoni haters during the season when they comprised a 55-27 record. "But, but but... he lost to the Spurs again"!!! BFD. Id take a 50+ winning season with a chance at going to the Finals over the poo storm weve put up with the last 7 yrs.

I didn't watch a game of the series so I'm not involved other than I wish the Spurs would have gone down.

Some posters hate the Lakers the worst but the Spurs turn my stomach the most. A lot has to do with Stern and the Amare/Diaw suspension.
