This GS game is just ridiculous. Curry and Klay have a combine 59 points at halftime and the team is up 92-50. Is that the most points in a half?

If I heard correctly the record for a half is 99. FYI the Suns and Celtics have the record for a game without overtime, both put up 173. The Warriors backed off in the 2nd half and finished with 149. They could have made a run at 173 if they had been in a closer game.

Doncic is looking like the real deal. And he is only 19.
His basketball IQ is just incredible for a player so young. Will only get better as he gets stronger with NBA training regimen.

It's a bit scary to think how good he will be.

Yes it is. It's interesting that the two players that a lot of people considered over-hyped are even better than advertised.
Just imagine how good Ayton will look once this offense starts to gel and/or we get a PG that can feed him regularly. That being said I would say both Doncic and Ayton are surpassing my early season expectations for both of them. Didn't think they would be looking like near all stars already.

Ayton is getting like 5 assists a game for a big man. If we had better shooters, I bet he would have like 7 assists a game. Probably will get a triple double during a game we ever get some hot shooters in.

The thing with Doncic, is I think he's more polished than Ayton. I am thinking he's already close to his ceiling in skills. Ayton is still raw in some aspects. I think his upside is higher, too!

This is turning into a very good draft indeed. Too bad the Suns couldn't have both Ayton and Doncic.

I think Ayton will get much better but I think the same applies to Doncic. I don't think he is anywhere near his ceiling.

I thought about that on draft night. If we had really used the Miami pick and more to take them both!

Greedy! LOL

I thought about it too but it was unlikely the Suns could get that high. I was hoping Trae Young might fall though.

I had mixed feelings about SGA but a trade up for him was more feasible than going for Doncic or Young and it's looking like it would have been a good decision.

Bridges will be good, but you guys would probably would be glad I wasn't GM. I would have given up the Miami, the Milwaulkee and probably next years number one to get Ayton and then pick second to get Doncic, too!

If we knew now what we know about Josh, I think we could've used him + LAL pick to trade up even higher then either of those are a more realistic possibility.

If McDonough wanted to trade up to draft Shai and was overruled, I will be very upset.

If you could have done it this forum would be crazy with happiness about now. It might have taken more though.

Same thoughts about SGA. He looked like a two-years-away-from-being-two-years-away type prospect.

If you want to go back further we could have Ayton playing next to Lauri instead of Anderson. Good call. :)

SGA was one of my least favorite prospects early in the season and when he turned it on down the stretch I wasn't sure which player to expect. But it's looking like he's the real deal, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing him and Markkanen on this roster alongside Booker and Ayton.

Doncic is much better than I expected. It's the age old question a guy like Doncic is great because he can get his own points he doesn't depend on others to get him the ball. Ayton needs a better PG to make him better, Doncic really doesn't. But Luka has been playing ball at a higher level for years overseas so his game is more advanced, and it's not like he's a skinny guy either he's physically developed too. He'll get better but he's probably closer to his ceiling than Ayton is.

If Ayton learns to play consistently hard on defense he's going to be a top 2-3 C in the NBA for 12 years, I don't think you can go wrong with that.

Doncic has had negative impact as of now, the Mavs have been better when he is not on the floor so far.

Josh Jackson is turning the ball over 1 out of 4 possessions that's insane.
