Bridges will be good, but you guys would probably would be glad I wasn't GM. I would have given up the Miami, the Milwaulkee and probably next years number one to get Ayton and then pick second to get Doncic, too!
I would have done that too.

I remember the game well and our opponent was the Paul Westhead coached Denver Nuggets.
I remember listening to the game on the radio. Cedric Ceballos was going nuts right as the first half ended. He scored something like 20 points in 7 minutes or something.

The Bucks look great but they've only beaten 1 Western Conference team, Minnesota, so far. I suspect they will lose 4-5 games in the next 10 as they get Boston, and then the Warriors, Denver twice, Portland twice and Memphis. I suspect they lose 4-5 of those 7 games. If they get out of the next 10 with 3 losses or less I'll be VERY impressed.

Now that McD is out I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about why Budenholzer turned us down. He's the one largely getting the credit for Milwaukee's start, and I think was the first choice for head coach here for a lot of us.

I doubt he would have us playing much better than we currently are. Milwaukee has a lot of defensive talent and an MVP candidate on their roster.

Can you imagine what Westheads offense would result in if people knew then what they know now about the 3 ball?

I can just imagine what his Denver offense would look like if you transplanted it to today's game. But back then few players actually developed a 3 point shot (except probably at the end of practice) so I don't know how effective it would have been? But Westhead's offensive approach today, coupled with the up and coming next generation of shooters (the Curry wannabes), now that would be something to watch.

Len with 22 pts on 9-9 shooting, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals and 1 assist.

He’s even extended his range to the 3pt line.

Him and Trae Young have developed good on court chemistry together.

And after a mere 3 consecutive games of Len playing like absolute horse crap! He's turned the corner for sure!

Oh, and you forgot to mention that Len's highlight night tonight came in a blowout loss to the previously winless Cavs.

(cough) troll (cough)

Rockets got waxed again tonight.

Carmelo said; "It's just a matter of us getting that one win, getting that feeling, getting that winning feeling. It's funny saying that after the team wins 60-something games last year, to say getting back to getting a winning feeling again."

Uh huh, sure thing Melo, they need to get that winning feeling they had when they won 60 games... but I've got a "feeling" that someone who's taking a ton of shots and not playing any defense hasn't ever had the "feeling" of being on a 60 game winner.

I said before the season that the Rockets had a bizarre off-season. Morey has always been about analytics and efficiency, then, out of desperation from reaching the brink, they went well outside of that philosophy. I thought the results would be bad, but not this bad. If Paul misses extended time (and they don't also relegate Melo to the end of the bench soon) they could miss the playoffs entirely.

In other Rockets news, they declined Chriss' option.

With the Rockets not picking up Chriss' option and the Suns not picking up Bender's, they join a list of only a handful of top 10 picks to not play their 4th contract season. One of the others was on the Suns when his option was declined, Wes Johnson, but, to be fair, his contact was only acquired in a salary dump trade.

There a disaster. Lost key role players and replaced them with Carmelo the ultimate I ain't doing the dirty work guy lol
