Yeah, and we have new offensive and defensive systems, and the toughest schedule in the league - and we are likely to suffer some injuries again.

Just look at our road schedule and tell me honestly if you can even find 2 games we are likely to win.

The turnover in teams making the playoffs makes 'schedule' one of the most overrated offseason references.

Terrible corner, I agree... But as a Card in his best position (special teams) he was great. I'll miss him there. :shrug:

I missed his special teams play for the last two years because he was nothing what he used to be once he attempted to be a conrnerback... Bethel could never find the ball in the air regardless of his positioning

Yes, but did he attempt to be a CB or did BA try to force a square peg into a round hole? Greater minds than mine will have to answer that.

I'm of the mind that great ST players are severely under-rated.

I can see why they tried because, due to his athletic ability, seldom did a WR ever break off from him, he simply had no instincts to turn around and find the ball in the air... wished we could have snuck a buzzer in his shoe which when pressed made him turn and look for the ball, he would have been an all pro

Bethel was an amazing STer. Never understood why they overpaid him and tried to make him a starting cornerback .
