GS is the one team that I think it just as deep as the Suns.
Not as deep, but may have a more potent lineup than we can match.

nobody Can beat this team if Poole, Curry, and Thompson are all shooting well in the same game.

payton got tired of Hyland talking and knocked him down in the paint and then drew a foul on him and stared at him. Very chippy series so far.

I don't think the Suns are going to let the Warriors move as freely as Denver does. One of the issues Denver has is neither Joker nor Cousins has the lateral quickness to guard in the small lineup. Ayton definitely does. I also just think Phoenix is tougher on defense they bump cutters and play harder on defense. Bridges in particular.

I think the way to beat the Warriors is have Mikal stuck to Poole. Curry will get his. I'm not saying let him but it's unavoidable. However Bridges can keep Poole from getting hot which makes them very beatable. Klay is an issue as well but he's not the Klay from 3-4 years ago and I genuinely think Booker can guard him well enough that he wouldn't be an issue.

They are doing it now. There is on reason to think they won’t do it a hand full of times in a series.
Sure against a fairly poor defense. The Suns will get these guys far more uncomfortable than the Nuggets can. I'm not saying we are going to lock up all 3, but we can certainly keep one or two of them in check on a regular basis.

Has Brynn Forbes ever been in the 3 point contest? Man he can shoot.

Well that’s fine and all, but cp3 can’t guard steph, we’d have to put crowder on him and have CP3 guard Draymond I guess.

that lineup is just lethal.

Even though Dallas won, they had to shoot 50 percent from 3 and make 22 of them. I seriously doubt they can do that again in this series.

I think we’re looking at an absolute, all-time classic 7 game series.

A total war. Suns and healthy Warriors are easily the best two teams in the league.

The Suns would be lucky to get to 7 games. The Warriors' offense has a gear that's way beyond anything the Suns are capable of, and great offense will eventually beat great defense.

If both teams are healthy, I don't think Phoenix can beat Golden State in a series. What the Warriors showed tonight was terrifying.

It was, but I don’t think they can do that every game against good D.

that said the games we played against them this season were not really confidence builders.

but a lot can happen before we have to play them.

I definitely think we’d have to play our absolute A game to win that series. At the same time, I do think the Warriors might look a little better they might be because they’re playing Denver. Don’t forget, Denver made us look like like the 1996 72 win Bulls last year also. I feel like that’s happening again in this series.

But I agree… they are dynamic unlike any other team in the league we’d have to beat to win the title. In order for that ti happen, Ayton will have to play the series of his life to punish them for going small. That’ll be a tall task. No pun intended.

Also, people here should be prepared for almost everyone to pick against us in that series if it comes to pass.

Fortunately, I no longer care in the slightest about what social media talking heads say in order to keep their own names in circulation. What passes for "reporting" these days is vapid and pathetic.

It's a good lineup but it's beatable. I'd say put CP3 on Steph because he'll get his regardless and Paul is probably the only player we have who wouldn't get in foul trouble while he gets his. They run so many picks for Steph that it doesn't make sense trying to assign one guy to him. Meanwhile Mikal could clamp down on Poole and keep him from getting going. They run screens for him too but not nearly like they do for Curry.

telling you Cousins is targeting Poole he's trying to hurt him

Cousins is trash. Dude has built a reputation of being "screwed" by being on bad teams. He sucks, empty, stat padding offense, doesn't play any defense at all, gets dumb techs, takes cheap shots. He has talent, but uses it miserably, I would argue that he is among the most overrated "stars" of all time. I wouldn't want him within a mile of my team.

His ejection in game 1 was laughable, he didn't deserve it, but this is a dude who's entire career has revolved around being a ******* and fighting refs over nonsense while his team was getting destroyed... I have zero sympathy.

Yeah the refs in this series have been terrible. Ejected Cousins in game 1 for bad calls, Jokic's first T last night was carryover from a ridiculous 3rd foul on him when he never touched Draymond. Then his 2nd seemed pretty clear Draymond fouled him. In a series with 2 ejections and multiple T's, you'd think it means the refs are watching stuff closely but here's Cousins taking cheap shots left and right and they completely missed Payton just level Hyland with a 2 hand shove in the paint.

So they have chippy stuff going on all over that they're ignoring but you complain about a horrible call we're going to T you up

I turned off the tv last night on the postgame show I watched the local feed so it was the local post game. So when I turned on the tv this morning I still had that channel on and it was some Warriors show on and they said that Payton was apparently getting treatment after the game, and Poole had a cut inside his lip, both "from contact by DeMarcus Cousins."

I did notice when Payton went out late in the game he went straight to the lockerroom but he came back so I assumed he was using the bathroom but apparently he was getting treatment for some sort of lower back pain courtesy of Cousins.

I assume Poole got cut when Cousins ran him over on that screen

Or...putting up big stats because your team is trash isn't the sole criteria of being MVP.

But there not trash he has them in the 6 seed all by himself. I have no idea why you hate him so much but he’s def not an empty stat padder

Jokic leads Denver in
Minutes
Points
Rebounds
Assist
Steals
Blocks

You talk about being a one man team. He’s the definition of being the most valuable to his team
