Dunno. It’d be too rich for us, but anyone planning to make a deep run in the playoffs and draft in the mid-20s should be happy to make that deal.

I think the problem is that he wants to get paid. I'm not sure there is a team out there willing to cough up the dough that he would want, not to mention a high value draft pick or picks that it would cost to get him. I'm guessing he will want around CMC's contract numbers?

To me it's the Colts saying, go see and find out if you can get better deal than we are offering. Knowing full well that no team will pay the price to grab him a few weeks before the season starts. I mean maybe if a contender went down with an injury things might be interesting. However everyone has stayed pretty healthy so far.
