Dallas should easily be considered number one right now. The Packers seem to be number 2 with a lot of question marks for a playoff run but you can't argue their record. And in my opinion, the Cardinals with a number of other teams could claim the third spot...the NFC isn't that strong which would make the Cardinals somehow getting into the playoffs very interesting.

I think we'll get a good idea on Nov 29th. Green Bay at Dallas.

I feel there's a log jam with the Bucs/Giants/Redskins/Eagles/Seahawks/Cardinals
but I feel that each team could beat the other.

I hate the cowboys so much but they are no question the best team in the nfl Romo is having a great year and so is Owens. I still don't think the cowboys could beat eaither the colts or the pats in the superbowl though

for the record, I hate the Cowboys too and I could count the ways but it would take weeks to finish. I think they have a better running attack, and defense than the Pack but we will see when it all plays out.

The Pack and the Cowboys are the best, but neither are really all that great. The NFC is wide open--anyone who gets into the playoffs has a legitimate shot at the privilege of losing to the AFC in the superbowl, IMO. (and that includes the Cards, should they make it)

Have you noticed that if the Cardinals were to win the division, we would be looking forward to home games against both Dallas and Green Bay next year?

Of course that road game in Massachusetts would be a bit of a challenge as well.

I better hurry and get season tickets. There will be no way to get to see these games at face value without my own tickets.

Brady has been saying all kinds of bad things about Karlos Dansby of late, right guys. Wonder if anyone has told Dansby about all those negative things :).

cowboys and packers in any order are the best in the nfc. It's hard to judge between those two. they both are solid on both sides of the ball. dallas does run the ball better, but grant has done very well in his last 3 games. Dallas' may be better than GB's, but GB's defense may be better than dallas'. but both teams just keep improving on both sides. the giants are the 3rd best team IMO. but the nfc is hard to predict these days. the seahawks are looked great against the 49ers, but the one thing that is clear(crystal) is that the 49ers have become the worst team in the NFC......maybe NFL. Miami might be better at this point.

the Giants?

Why not? Because Eli Manning is still Eli and most OL men can out run the Giant secondary in a foot race.

Eli will never be Peyton, but I really think he is a good QB. The Giant's rookie CB Aaron Ross has been burnt and abused a few times this year, but I really liked him coming out of Texas and think he will be a stud in time.

And while their secondary does suck, their pass rush can make up for it much of the time. Also, they have the ability to come back from big deficets with Plaxico, who IMO is the second most dangerous reciever in football when close to healthy and Shockey who I rate as the second best TE. Brandon Jacobs, Ward and Droughns give them the deepest RB group in the NFL as well.

well the giants have a good offense. very solid. they have a great running game, a great offensive line. QB is okay. not bad, not good. that is the one position keeping them from elite status.
Their defense is good....not great. obviously their front 4 is good, but their stats were inflated somewhat in that philly game. osi uminhoweveryouspellit wasn't nearly as effective going up against flozell adams. The giants made a terrible mistake in trying to send everyone after romo and leaving their corners on islands to cover owens and crayton. they also decided they would take their chances with single coverage on owens, but they were going to take the TE out of the game. stupid mistake.
