It wasn't the cleanest outing for #Dbacks RHP Brandon Pfaadt last night, but he did tie his season high in SO with 11.

His 135 SO on the season ranks 10th in the NL.

He is 1 of 9 NL pitchers to have an ERA under 4.00, 125+ IP, 125+ SO, and a WHIP under 1.15.

I believe he leads the league in 1st pitch strike percentage, too. They mentioned last night he's at like 81%, which is ridiculous.

Pfaadt is 10x better than he was at this time last year. I feel like he’s a year away from being moderately better than he is now which is all star caliber. I’m getting mid-2000 Brandon Webb vibes.

In the Suns thread people have been asking what is the Suns culture? Does it matter, etc. The Dbacks have built a culture of good defense, hitting, base running. They definitely have a culture. It guides how they approach games. Hopefully first base doesn't bring us down this year on our infield defense.
