I agree that he needs to work on protecting the ball better but we're talking about a guy who's still only got 12 starts under his belt. I don't think his game is clearly established. But what he has show is accuracy. He's at 62.1% for his career(562 attempts) and was at 65.1%(270/414) his last 2 years in Houston.

He's gotten careless at times, trying to force things to happen but I don't think he's downright reckless to the point of being uncoachable.

The Cardinals need a QB who is accurate and can get the ball down the field and I think Sage fits that bill. Add to that his mobility and I don't really see him as a Derek Anderson type.

Sadly almost any idea on here would be better than what a professional team of people dedicated to the task came up with on our roster.

Let that sink in for a while, not that it hasn't by now.
