Okudah, Simmons, Brown, Wirfs and Thomas are the Gambo 5.

I guess worst case, if this is true, its Wills and the WRs sitting there at #8

I have to believe CLE or NYJ would be willing to move up to grab Wills

IF the Cards trade down (again, per Gambo), the group of players:

Kenneth Murray, LB OU
Xavier McKinney, S, ALA
KLvon Chaisson, Edge, LSU
CJ Henderson, CB, FLA
CeeDee Lamb, WR, OU
Jerry Jeudy, WR, ALA
Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU

Thank you!

Seems like a solid list for sure.

This feels like it will be the craziest draft in recent memory. I have no idea which way the Cardinals will go or even who the consensus #1 pick is at a most positions the Cardinals need.

Unless the #8 pick is out of left field (like Murray, Cleveland, etc)...I will be optimistic that the Cardinals made the right choice for their plan and hopeful they will be a great player.

Go Cards!

Yeah, this surprised me Gambo says they have Jefferson above Ruggs on their board.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Justin Jefferson will become the best WR in this draft. No evidence of course, but call it a hunch based on what I saw last year. Plus Jerry Sullivan absolutely LOVES him. How about a trade back with Tampa to get 14 and 45???

R1P14 - Justin Jefferson
R2P45 - Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Load up on LSU dawgs for K1. Just better outscore the competition.

Did they tell already?

That said, I'm afraid if we trade down that we miss out on a truly great game changer. Be it one of the elite OT prospects, or whoever falls between Simmons, Okudah, Brown, or trade too far down to nab even Lamb or Jeudy. Murray, McKinney, Chaisson and Henderson have too many question marks for my liking. They are legit mid 1st rounders, but not the elite prospects I want. Jefferson is a bit of a wild card. I also think he can be great for us. Maybe he turns out better than Jeudy and Lamb. I prefer defense or OT at 8 though. Possibly trading down a bit and still get an OT. But with an early OT run expected, staying put might be the wisest option.

the good news:

the top 5 are all good picks, and, odds are one will be there

at this time in 2016, Hassan Reddicks name had popped up in the conversations......

there isnt a Reddick equivalent in the top five

I don’t think there is a game-changer in this draft except for the OSU DE and Burrow.

Will teams be more likely to trade away next year's picks given college football is a bit up in the air at this stage?
I was thinking the same thing
Right now next years picks look close to worthless
Huge gamble counting on those picks for anything

I was thinking that with all the great players sitting there that fit perfect with our needs this draft, nothing wrong with giving away future pics to get a couple of these top guys. high

Our future pics may not be very high. Would love to get both Simmons and Kinlaw this year. Next year's 1st and a couple of 3s or 2&3, would be worth it to me to get 2 can't miss players right now.

Remember, the future is not promised to any man.

Considering those picks may be worthless it might not be a bad strategy to trade away next years picks

per Gambo / 98.7:

the Atlanta trade is real, however:

If Simmons / Brown / Okudah are there, no trade and they take one of them.

said 100% they don't take Wills at #8. Only a possibility if they trade down.
