Did they mention how he almost kissed Catwoman (on the t.v. show) but stupid Robin budinskied and ruined the moment?

They talked about his relationship with CatWoman and how he was the perfect woman for him for a fling. He could never be with her, because she crossed some lines that Batman would never.

Saw it at 12:01AM. It was great. I give it about 8.5 out of 10 only because my expectations were so high. There was a lot going on, perhaps too much. Heath Ledger was captivating as the joker, and I'm not just saying that because he's dead. Two Face was sick. I'll stop there so I don't spoil the movie.

45 more minutes.

I'm leaving here in 15.

My hope is that a 9:15 showing won't be packed. Kids won't be up yet and most adults will be at work. Fingers crossed.

The one thing I didn't like and thought wasn't done well and at times was a little confusing:
The cell-phone radar. I thought that was unnecessary, and even in the context of a comic book movie, a little unbelievable.

One thing that I thought was cool (and this is a REAL spoiler, so I REALLY recommend you don't read it unless you've seen the film):
People in the theater clapped and went crazy when Jim Gordon reappeared. That was a great moment in the movie, and I thought it was really well delivered line when he got to tell his kid that he saved the Batman.

And, just in case you're curious, the theater was about half-full at 9:15 AM.

My gut tells me this will the the highest-grossing weekend to date.

The thing I really liked is that it took so long for him to reappear. When he "died", the first thing I thought is that it was staged. But it took at least 20 minutes for him to reappear and by that time you're like, "maybe he IS dead". Mainly because most movies that do that show the guy alive in the next scene or two--but this movie did not.

I'm seeing it again at 4pm this afternoon at the Arclight here (the best public theater in California), because when I saw the screening a few days ago, there were no trailers. :D

There was a trailer for Watchmen. Interesting, but as a fanboy it doesn't have me foaming at the mouth like I was for Batman.

DCR, Linder, my wife and I are going to IMAX tonight at 7:30. I am about to lose my mind in anticipation.

This has been one of the busiest days I have ever had at work, and one of the slowest at the same time.

2 and a half more hours of work.

Still thinking about it. F'n awesome.

BTW, there were a bunch of 6-8 year olds there with their parents. I don't know what those parents were thinking. A) Those kids are not going to sleep well all week and B) the movie was more than 2.5 hours.

I am going to see this tomorrow. Can't decide if I should see this at the IMAX or at the Cine Capri2 (which I think is all digital)?
