This loss is on Warner 100%!

You cannot even begin to justify it otherwise, don't even try!

Come to the DARKSIDE!
Embrace it.

I'm not on the darkside now or probably for years.

The truth is we have the talent to fix this and coaching to match that, no matter how bad it gets and this season could go wrong, we'll not be going back to the one heartbeat pit of darkness and for that I am thankfull.

Perspective is key, now when it's terrible you have to realize, Clancy is gone, and Wells is here and our backup is Matt L.

That's not true darkness, it's not even close to fielding a punter as your QB.

Our offensive line play is almost equal to playing a punter as our QB. Horrific is an understatement.

I was in the camp that the Cards should never have tried to re-sign Warner when he went to SF. The should have let the 9ers sign him. But since the Cards caved to that ridiculous contract, they have to let him start. He should be on a VERY SHORT leash though and if he continues to play like he has all four preason games and tonday and the Cards are 0-3 after the Colts game (I don't believe they will be), then Wiz seriously needs to consider starting the Leinart era for good. No more duel QB crap. Make Leinart the starter so they can see what they have. There are some good QB's coming out this year.

I'm not talking about Tom Tupa and I hope you're not comparing Matt Lienart to him.

So, we should give up almost a quarter of our season to realize what is blatantly obvious? At that point the season is over.

Kurt needs to understand that at this point of his career he is a very very good backup on a good team. Capable of stepping in and keeping things on an even keel. In last years high octane Haley called offense he excels. In Coach Whis' Pittsburgh west type of offense he will stutter and sputter. Matt should get the nod as this team with this OLine is in for a long season if Whis calls this kind of game. His play calling really sucked hard today. If you do not have the personel on the Oline to run a grind it out type of game then you have to go fast no huddle or semi no huddle. Hopefully the Coach does not cut his nose off to spite his face and stay with Warner in this type of offensive play calling. We will only win if the Defense scores. They looked good today.

I agree, to a point. I don't believe in sitting a guy due to a bad regular season game. IF Warner totally bombs next week in JAX, I may change my mind, but right now I think the perfect time to do a switch would be the bye week. I would give ML a whole week with the 1st team.

I agree. You don't give a guy $12 million and then bench him after one game, no matter how badly he played.

You do if you play to win. Even more "especially" if the guy is 38 years old.

ITs' on Whiz more than KW- How does KW have anything to do with the team penalties? That's on the head coach.. Coaches had the offense prepared or not to play today.. Coaches called the plays today.. I owe you my entrance fee, O..

Then we never should have paid him in the first place. But we did because we thought he had a couple of good years in him, and maybe he does.

Kurt was supposedly finished in St. Louis and New York also. Hell, he led us to the Super Bowl not even a year ago.

Regardless, Whiz isn't benching him next week, so the point is moot.

Yup, even though we may feel differently, realistically I don't see Warner getting benched until week 6 or 7 if at all.

A good coach can see something is wrong with his QB and dosen't start him unless he has no other viable choice.

Some would say Kurt has a history of saying he's healthy and then playing like he's not.

This is the same coach that had an open competition between BSP and a guy making like 5 times what he does, so by that logic this should have been over by now.

And that was before he had his surgery

It's funny how he got the surgery after he got paid isn't it?
Now that's a health care plan!

Who's Matt Lienart? At least get his name right. If you think Matt Leinart would have done any better that is probably wrong. Matt had his chance to win me over against Denver and he looked worse than Kurt if anything. Even that 2nd half where he led the Cardinals back mostly against the 2nd team defense of the Packers he had a pick and should have had two and had to recover two of his fumbles. That doesn't sound like the QB I'd want to go with right now either.

Kurt Warner had a terrible 1st half no doubt, but I'm feeling a bit more confident in him right now with the way he came out and played the 2nd half. It was too little too late for sure, but maybe the 2nd half will prove to be enough to get him back on track. Things will be better next week @Jacksonville.

Lets get this straight. The Cards paid Warner purely for PR purposes. Nothing more.

Yup. No way do you give a 38 year old QB that type of $$$ regardless of what he did. What pisses me off more is they took care of Warner for one good season, yet drag thier feet with Dansby, Q and to a lesser extent Dockett. If they lose any of those guys this offseason because they overpaid a bloated contract to Warner and have no cash to take care of those three I will be freaking rip sh-t.

Why don't you go cozy up to you Whiner buddy?
Instead of being a Warner apologist, why not accept reality!
Oh, wait a minute. I guess your name says it all!

If my 2nd paragraph isn't accepting reality, what is? Thinking Leinart would do any better probably isn't accepting reality either. Again with the attacking on my name? :bigyawn:

I think the Cardinals got punk'd by a 38 year old QB that had a crappy two and a half years then took the team to the Super Bowl, made them over pay for him, and then went back to his crappy form. I am still waiting for Ashton Kutcher to run out on the field in the middle of the game with the hidden cameras.

It would of taken stones to cut bait on Warner, but I doubt it would of come to that, no one really would of bid against us.

We should of just stuck to our offer and if he went he went, should of been a one year deal with an option on the 2nd and it should of been left at that.

I said something like that at the time, I wasn't for dumping him at all just setting the terms, we were in the drivers seat, they bolted out of the seat and insisted Warner take it from them, it was stupid then and I said so then and this is what they get for being stupid.

In the NFL stupid hurts bad.

Amare Stoudemire, Eric Byrnes, Kurt Warner...our superstars :-/ I still have faith that Warner will turn it around. Only eight months ago he was performing like one of the top quarterbacks in the league. He still has it. The o-line needs to step it up and protect him, or else I'd go with Leinart who has more of an ability to avoid the rush. I like the team we have out there, but next week absolutely is a must-win.

Let me tell you about reality my friend!
I have been on this board from day one! Long after you and Kurt are gone I will still be here
You have been here less than a year. The one and only reason you are is because of Warner.
Kurt Warner is not the ARIZONA CARDINALS!
That's who I support, The Arizona Cardinals.
Not just Kurt Warner!
Can you say the same Iowa Warner Fan?
