First Hills Have Eyes Remake Casting
Source: Juliette
May 25, 2005

Ezra Buzzington (Ghost World, Art School Confidential) has signed to play the role of Goggle in director Alexandre Aja's remake of Wes Craven horror cult classic The Hills Have Eyes. Fox Searchlight Pictures recently picked up the film. Craven, who directed and wrote the original, is producing.

The film tells the tale of a vacationing family that takes a wrong turn, accidentally going through an air-testing range. When they get stranded in the desert, they become the targets of a cannibalistic, feral group of humans.

Goggle is the watchdog of the Hill People.

There's that word again: feral :D

Man the original was one of those "freak you out" movies like the first time you see the original Chainsaw Massacre.

I forget the bald characters name in Hills Have Eyes, very freaky movie.

That would be Michael Berryman as Pluto.

Guy is actually incredibly cool and easygoing . . . if a bit scary to see :D

I hate remakes but the filmmakers they got for this did the much-touted High Tension so I have some hope for it.

Poppa Jupe is that you? Oh it's just that Devil Dog! Hmmmm, baby tenderloin!

Who could forget lines like those? This movie is a family favorite. Last I looked, the original movie is no longer being sold. I luckily bought a copy at a video store.

Pretty stupid movie, full of horror cliches. I wish they'd do something original these days--instead, they have to rely on the Japanese to do the real out-there stuff...

Watched it saturday on on demand.

MUCH preferred the original, this was crap, way too much gore instead of legit fright.

the chick from lost looked great but really not a good movie.

I just watched The Hills Have Eyes. It was the unrated version. It was my 2nd time I've ever seen a horror movie.
