One thing that Collinsworth talked up last night but doesn't get enough attention IMO is that because we like to push tempo, we get to 4th quarters and you can see gassed defenders. As CC said last night Seattle had backups in on key drives late in the game because their starters were so tired, 2 of those good runs by Chase were the direct result of a backup making a mistake and Chase making a nice cut to exploit it.
That last drive for the tying FG in regulation the runs were huge they got us yardage, they were less risky and they ran clock
It's a different approach for sure and you worry about running clock at the end of games but if you notice Kyler is also quite clever about snapping the ball. Sometimes we get up to the LOS and then hold the ball for 10 seconds with the defenders having scrambled to get in place and you can see their anxiety as he does it.
The last 2 games you can see at times even Kyler is a bit gassed from a run and he'll rush up to the LOS trying to force the defense to line up, and then hold the ball which gives him time to see what they're in and catch his own breath
