Perhaps they are are wearing their jerseys that way as a sign of distress, like an American flag being flown upside down.

It could be their way of saying: Help! Help! Someone throw me a new contract before I completely run out of Cristal!

Or perhaps not....

Faking an injury(if it is faking) is just dumb. Who wants a player that is damaged goods? :bang:

Release them and you'll find out real quick.

Here we are again with David Boston and Thomas Jones. Eric Swann and Mark Smith. Simeon Rice and Jamir Miller.

Hey Derm bring extra Woodford Reserve to the tailgates would you. :bang:

I noticed the jersey thing and personally was offended that these guys would disgrace the team that has made both of them millionaires in thier 20's!!!!

I was bothered when I saw it as well.

Im sure if it was a real issue the coaching staff would have addressed it. but hey just like everything on here..just my opinion on the subject. Im sure nobody here is going to tell another person what they can or can not do....or what they can post..or who they can support...

I think that, had the coaching staff addressed it, DD and Q would have gotten exactly what they are looking for ... atttention.

It's a sad state of affairs when you have to fake an injury because you are upset with your current job. I suffered a real injury (broken nose) yesterday at work, but I still managed to make it through today's expectations and responsibilities. Then again, I am pretty okay with my current contract.

We don't have to release them. They are under contract. Man up Q, KD and KB. The Cards hold all the cards (for once).

Look at the replays of the Super Bowl. Dansby and Dockett manned up big time.

Yeah, I was there. I saw if first hand. And they are under contract. So?

So? Being under contract makes what they did in the postseason nothing? Just because they were under contract they didn't "man up" last season?

Let me put some numbers up for you:

6-10,3-13,7-9,5-11,4-12,6-10,5-11,5-11,8-8. And you go...So? when talking about outstanding performances in the friggin' Super Bowl?

You should have stayed home if it was that boring.

Relax, Duck. He's just saying that just because they played well in the SB doesn't absolve them of the fact that they're still under contract and are currently acting like babies. At least, that's what I'm reading.

Obviously the Cards playing in the Super Bowl for the first time ever wasn't a big deal for you.

But just to keep the conversation going in the right direction who ever said anything about the Franchise needing to man up and pay the players just because the team went to the SuperBowl?

My comments were strictly related to responding to posters saying our guys needed to man up and play which I said they did last year after pulling the same stuff over their contracts last summer.

If you have some evidence that Dansby and Dockett didn't play well last season I'd like to see it.

Wow..gettin kinda petty at this point. Really? U are pissed that they didnt wear their jerseys the correct way? Did they practice?? Im sure if it was a real issue the coaching staff would have addressed it. but hey just like everything on here..just my opinion on the subject. Im sure nobody here is going to tell another person what they can or can not do....or what they can post..or who they can support...

Petty? I think DD and Q have all the pettiness wrapped up for themselves. The jersey is the team's colors...it is symbolic to the team, like a nation's flag is symbolic to the nation. Disrespect the team's colors, and you're disrespecting everything from the team to the coaches to the other players to the fans. It's a big middle finger, and I think they're douches for doing it.

I'm definitely my father's son in that I'm not afraid to call out pro athletes for being asses. My father called out both Bonds and Mark Malone (who didn't want to sign an autograph from a kid after he was already out of football...the dummy should have been touched anyone still remembered who he was!). Yeah, Bonds ignored him, but my dad basically told Malone to stop being a jerk and sign the now crying kid's autograph.

If I were there and Q and DD were doing that, I'd walk up, set down my autograph paper, then move it to the next player in line. I'd loudly proclaim that I don't want an autograph from a non-professional little baby that completely disrespects my team and us fans. I'd look 'em both (or just one, since they probably weren't together) dead in the eye when I said it. Then I'd move on for the other autographs. If they want to acted like spoiled little children throwing a temper tantrum, they should be treated like big babies.

The point is for me though that both guys pulled the same stuff last season about their contracts and it didn't hurt the team at all and that the two of them put together the best defensive performance ever in a big game for Arizona. As such we should man up and leave them alone.

This is where you and I are different. I could care less how the guys act off the field as long as they play their rear's off on the field and win. I might have felt the same way at one time but 45 years of losing has changed my perspective. You win and stay out of trouble with the law and you're ok in my book.

you guys should take a look back at what Warner did in the Vikings, Jets, Eagles and Pats game as well. He needs to man up and play better. Aw, hell with it, cut his ass too.
