Im off the Detroit this afternoon. Good luck to all Card's fans throughout the season, its been fun talking football with all of you. I think you will be surprised with the Detroit team on the field this Sunday, possibly surprised they are better than advertised or possibly that they are the worst team in football( I wish I knew myself). Don't know where the tix are cause the family in Detroit has them but my flight leaves tonight. Lookout for me - I'll be wearing a no. 81 home jersey. I think I owe beers to Arvos and FischinMich if they see me. Here's to a positive start to the season!

I was planning on wearing my Arizona Cardinals authentic helmet for the Lions game...do you think i would be able to wear it inside the stadium??

Here's the link to items that aren't permitted in Ford Field..... Doesn't mean anything about an authentic helmet..

Edit: If that was a sarcastic question (sorry if it wasn't) about
how Lions fans will
receive Cardinal faithful, you should have no concerns in that

You should be OK. I wore mine in to Ericcson Stadium in Charlotte in 2001 (I was in a Plummer jersey, so I wore the helmet when we were on offense and took it off when we were on D. Yeah, I know...LOSER!). People looked at me like I was nuts but nobody gave me grief for it.

Philly crowds are "heap big smoke, no fire". I used to go every year, wear my Cardinal gear from head to toe, stand up and chant "De-fense" when Philly was driving, etc. And yes, I did all that in the 700 level. All they do is throw garbage at you and chant "*sshole" over and over. Big deal!

I survived worse treatment in Tampa. (they threw a full beer at me in Tampa...hit me in the face, and I never even flinched...But we lost when Butler missed a fairly long FG at the end).
