Really? I thought Kevin smith was a pretty good every down back...

Best can't play every down he's not durable enough but on turf in the right situations he can be a big play guy. Very good receiver too.

Just had real problems staying healthy at Cal.

Very happy for the kid though overcame a very scary fall that ended his junior season.

Yeah, I like him...I thought Detroit is just a strange place for him to land, and even stranger that they traded up for him.

I guess when you see the success of the two back system with the 2nd back being the reggie bush-type, it makes some sense...

I think we did the right thing.... We need to really stuff the run well if our games are going to be tighter than in previous years.

This pick could be looked at as our response to the 2 Offensive lineman in San Francisco and Okung in Seattle.
