He is 25-25 as a head coach and he is now coaching at his alma mater. He aint going anywhere
probably not but he has a NFL background and when the NFL comes calling, college coaches tend to listen.

I'd still love to bring in Andy Reid. I'd like him to bring Pat Shurmur with him as his OC (Eagles QB coach from 2002-2008), and bring Juan Castillo as his OL coach. Obviously this would require a change to a WCO, but I'm ok with that.

Not a fan of McCoy. This was Tebow's OC last year. Just because he was able to watch Manning be brilliant this year does not mean he is a good coach.

In my estimation the fact that they managed to change their offense mid season to cater to Tebow's strengths and actually win some games and get production on offense was a marvel.

I'd be all for that, but I don't know if I'm totally on board with the up and coming coordinator thing.

McCoy is being attacked right now because they wouldn't be able to interview him for another 3 to 4 weeks if they procrastinate.

I believe he is a smoke screen anyways.

Either Kelly.

Hiring a HC like the offensive Guru at Oregon would not upset me at all. He is an original thinker and a real offensive genius of sorts. The Eagles want him and are making a run at him. If we want some real new blood and new ways of thinking a guy like this may be the way to go. Probably our best HC ever came from the college ranks and we of course fired the hall of fammer. More than likely we will stick to the NFL routine of taking some other teams material. Horton has worked out well and I will sure be sorry to see him depart.

How about head coach: Andy Reid

Offensive coordinator: Norv Turner

Defensive coordinator: Ray Horton

Trade for Phillip Rivers for QB.

Yeah, I know chances of this are virtually nil.

Turner and Reid fall into different philosophies. Vertical versus West Coast. Reid will want Shurmer, Mooch, Gruden, etc.....

RE: McCoy lol

Scenerio:
We hire Denver's OC to be our next head coach.
Tim Tebow is released from the NY Jets.
Does Tebow become our new starting QB?

Lol. Just saying...

I think Ray Horton is the next HC. He is already under contract, knows the players and has their respect. He will promote DB coach Deshea Townsend as the DC. Not sure about OC but most of the big names out there (Reid, Smith, Gruden, Cowher, etc) will cost too much for the Bidwill's.

In MB's press conference, price didn't seem like a concern. If they are willing to eat $5.5 million, i am guessing they are not too worried about the cost of another coach.

You are playing old tapes. Whiz was one of the top ten best paid coaches in any sport so Bidwills are cheap rap doesn't fly.

Pro and college sources have also said the Cardinals, among others, are interested in Penn State head coach and former Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien. O'Brien -- who has also drawn interest from Cleveland, Philadelphia and San Diego -- will have decisions to make this week when he returns from vacation about which teams, if any, he wants to meet with. Penn State officials were unable to be reached for comment, but NFL clubs have begun contacting the school, according to sources.
