If Whiz has had the control over the QB, OL, RB acquisitions/ nonacquisitions, he should be toast.

The National Football League is less about X's and O's than it is about Jims and Joes.

Well then he should be toast. This is his hot mess.

I think most of us agree with this. If Whiz truly has been making all the personnel decisions, he needs to be shown the door or at a bare minimum he needs to have his control removed. If there is one person responsible for our O Line and QB talent, we don't need that guy involved in any level of player evaluation.

I think you should run a poll.

If the NFL is more about players than coaches how did it happen that CKW took basically the same players Denny Green went 5-11 with to the Super Bow in just two seasonsl. And how did Horton take basically the same players who were a bottom 10 defense and make them into a top 10 defense in half a season?

Good coaches can take his and beat yours and then take yours and beat his.

Do you really think a poll would be necessary? I don't believe that Whiz has made all the personnel decisions but if he has been making each and every one of these calls, he has no business being a decision maker when it comes to evaluating O Line and QB talent.

You suggest that most agree that he should go. So run a poll.

No, if you read the entire post and in context you'll see there's a big fat "if" involved. I really have no idea how it would break if we're simply asking the question should Whiz go or not. I'd probably vote against it but I wouldn't be opposed to letting him go. I think things have gone far enough south that it's time to consider some big changes. I'd be fine with a change that didn't include his firing but I wouldn't be all that upset if he was also shown the door.

This team is an out of control dumpster fire. If not for Patrick Peterson's miracles last year the 2011 Cardinals would have looked like the 2012 Cardinals and would have had a shot at GriffenIII OR Tannehill.

Whisenhunt should be fired for letting the QB situation get this bad when guys like Chris Redman and Vince Young are sitting at home. Lindley and Skelton have no business on an NFL roster other than maybe as a #3 QB.

I have never been a supporter of letting him go but I a thinking of joining the dark side. He has obviously lost this team based on the on field performance today. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise so we can keep Horton.

Everyone is coming around...

Not in the way you seem to think. You don't just fire a Head Coach that's had some success, you fire him after you've exhausted all other reasonable options. It wasn't time to fire him last year or the year before. In fact, if he hadn't so clearly lost this team, there'd still be a lot of people on this board arguing that he should have another year to set it straight. JMO.

I'm a huge Whiz supporter but it is now clear that he has lost this team. Plus he wasn't given much of a team to work with starting this season.

I'm all for a house cleaning now. All the way to the top starting with Graves.

This echos my feeling. I actually like Whiz and give him much credit for changing the culture around here. However, if you have lost the team, I am not sure where you can go from here.

The first person that should be fired is Graves. Why this guy is still around is beyond me. He should have been gone a long time ago. If you are going to clean house it has to start with Graves.

If you do keep Whiz around, it has to be with some major changes. For starters his staff has to have mandatory changes. I wouldn't be against this one bit but I am not sure that helps if you have lost the team. The rumors are the team has stop listening. The question becomes does change in the staff change that. I am not so sure.

I have ben on the fire Whiz band wagon for a long time. I recognized long ago that his ego was a major detriment to his team. I have never once heard him say that it was his fault (surely one of those loses was his fault) and he is forever throwing someone or someones under the proverbial bus.

I saw long ago that he was incapable of handling the qb situation on the team and was a horrible at running the offense. The offense under his tuteledge is has been inept in general. The only successful offense that the team has been capable of sustaining over a period of time has been when he was not directly in control of the offense.

Think about this.

1. Why do our rookie OL play better than linemen that have been on the team for a number of years. My guess would be that the team has not had time to coach it out of them. Sure they make mistakes but what rookie offensive lineman doesn't. They certainly seem to be learning. I shudder to think about how they will perform in another couple of years with the coaching they are receiving.

The qb's seem to regress also. JS was not nearly this bad his first year. It looks like they have just destroyed the modicum amount of potential that he had. Part of the problem that he has had this year is that the receivers are not performing like they have in previous years. They have not been willing to come back for the ball as expected and how many drops have we seen regardless of who's fault they were.

Whiz's program does not work. Haven't we seen enough to realize this? I sure have.
