The guy I really want gone is Graves. Worst GM in the NFL.
I don't believe it will happen, but it needs to. We just finished the easy part of the schedule. Things will likely get even uglier.
I've never seen a management group tear apart a team so thoroughly in such a short amount of time. The players look frustrated, the talent is weak and we don't really have a strength on either side of the ball. Plus, Whis has shown very little in the area of player development.
Pittsburgh West has failed miserably. It's time to find a new identity with a new regime.
Bloom and Henrickson (sp) are just throwing gas on the fire in a way that I never hear on Cardinal Talk. Things are getting ugly out there.
thinking about following the lions
At least it's real Football.
This team DID NOT COMPETE.
What kind of a message does it send to his own offense when down 28-0 and finally across midfield at the end of the first quarter faced with a 4th a 5 that the HC elects to punt the ball and put the gassed defense back on the field?
Then the decision to kick a 52 yard field goal.
Then the decision to try his best to mess up another end of a half by calling TOs when the Vikings are moving the ball.
Then the no decision to challenge Roberts' or Beanie's 1st down conversion attempts---at that point, down by 21, what does he have to lose. A timeout?
It goes on and on with this coach.
Worst of all---the decision to leave Levi Brown on an island with Jared Allen. Perpetual madness.
Negative. You started a thread 2 years ago when there was still faith and hope in CKW.
All good points but not challenging the first down was ridiculous. That was the game there or any slim chance we had of coming back was gone.
Here's a quote from last week's press conference,"I know that from watching tape. I know we've lost three games (in a row) by a total of eight points. They're still losses and don't think I'm happy with that".What does this say to the players when the coach gives up?
Plus---Whiz already told the media that he recovers faster from embarrassing losses like this one than by close losses (that he says linger longer). What does that tell you about his mentality as a coach?
Maybe the players tried to take it easy on him this week.
So who do we bring in as coach?

And coaching matters. The 49ers did nothing!!! And we all here were laughing how they wanted Luck. Now they are one of the best teams in the NFC and have the exact same team they did last year. Coaching matters.
I honestly think if this season ends 6-10 or worse he will be gone...and 6-10 or worse really looks likely at this point.
