I have never been a supporter of letting him go but I a thinking of joining the dark side. He has obviously lost this team based on the on field performance today. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise so we can keep Horton.

Only thinking of joining? What would KW have to do to get you to join? Shoot your dog, pee on your carpet, steal your car, and cause your girl to leave you? :D

That might do it Stout! ;) I was a season ticket holder for 8 of the worst seasons in this franchises history. I can handle alot of pain. LOL.

Wow. I'm not there yet but I'm damn close.

If whis has the sack to fire Grimm and hire are REAL effing OC, one that he can't just dryhump into calling the plays he wants him to, well...then I'll be ok with Whis as HC.

But he's a hop skip and two blowouts from me calling for his head. (I have already conceded a blowout in B'more.

nevermind. I'm there.

He's an effing egomaniac and won't ever take responsibility for his mistakes. Just pounds the system and execution. At this point, if they can't execute in the system, you fix the muffing system so the players can execute. It's SQUARELY ON HIS SHOULDERS and he shakes it off like water on a duck. Ef that.

I'm totally out. He's systematically dismantled a super bowl talent team that was built for him and turned them into a total piece of crap with the spine of a jellyfish.

one heart murmur all over again.

Daren, I'd agree with this if it weren't for the part where he's getting the horses he wants. Rod Graves isn't trolling the Steelers retirement homes of his own volition.

Whis wanted Kolb...he must mold him into a good QB. So far, it isn't working.

His good buddy is the OL coach and assistant HC, and has been a complete flop, from Levi on through to terrible strategy against top tier pass rushers, but Whis lets him skate every season. Not to mention they haven't even sniffed around any FA tackles, because in Whis' words "I am confident in the guys we have." And yes, I heard him say this in person, prior to free agency.

So while I would LOVE to agree, I can't. It isn't the horses, it's the trainer.

You mean a GM who is not a coach mouthpiece, right? Because that is what Graves is. He does what the coaches tell him to do. Again, he isn't trolling Steeler old farts because it is his idea.

Yes, he does suck and yes, he needs to go. He's a yes-man to the people above him and a yes-man to the people below him...thus he gives us nothing of value. However, the coach in his ear making the personnel calls is not absolved because he can get the GM to make crappy FA acquisitions on his behalf.

The fact that the team never gave up on him, coupled with MUCH better playcalling and the magical appearance of 2nd half adjustments has made me get off his back.

But I've got my eye on it still. The next time we go empty backfield on 3rd and one, I will be right back here again...however you noticed today we were rolling out the two back-2 TE set on 3rd and 1. I freaking LOVED it...we failed, but it was sooo much better.

Although he's still rolling out Chester Taylor on third and short and ALWAYS passing it then. Hello, telegraph. S.O.S.

I've come a long way baby!

Fire his stubborn, non-QB developing, system works, non adjustment making, doghouse building, sucks without Warner monkey ass TODAY and let Shane lick up his delicious tears.

Of course, they won't.

 I tears in my eyes. Exactly how I feel.

Ef this mediocre sliding to irrelavant bullcrap. Whiz is the captain of this wrecked ship. His fingerprints are all over this mess. He has to go.

I started sliding into the dark side with Whiz's handling of the Leinart/DA thing and every QB since. If he is retained it will be like the FO putting an "Approved" stamp on mediocrity.

Its time but I wont be happy unless Graves goes too. I look at what the Redskins were able to accomplish in one year with a successful draft at QB (2) and RB

6 game losing streak.
7 game losing streak.
9 game losing streak.

Outscored by division opponents by 100+ points in the last 4 division games.

One passing touchdown in 6 games (or so).

Rolling through QBs as follows post warner, in about 50 games or so: Cutting Leinart, starting Derek Anderson, Max Hall, Richard Bartel, Kevin Kolb, John Skelton, Ryan Lindley and Brian Hoyer. Combined, they didn't throw as many TD passes in three years as Warner did in two. Warner - 58 TD in 2 years. Cadre of Suck - 42 in 3. Wonderful system. But wait! The Cadre of Suck were much better than Warner in one area. In three years, the CoS threw 63 picks , Warner 33 in two years. Most awesome? This year, our defense intercepted the ball 22 times, while the QBs threw 21 picks. So, we are a plus one somewhere. Woo!

Those are unacceptable. Those are things that get coaches fired without the blink of an eye.

Graves must go too. TODAY, Michael Bidwill has a chance to cement his legacy as something different than his old man. He must make decisions based upon Long Term Vision, not Short Term sunk investments. Please clean house and start over, with a GM and HC which are willing to challenge each other and make tough decisions. Quality people with a Sense of Urgency!!
