No prob - I've been overdosing on the board the last couple days - I think it's cause I was gone for three days. I actually don't know why I came back with such venom, especially after a ridiculously good weekend - I think being called out in a thread specifically targeted at me and my "gang" just opened the floodgates - I also think this defense isn't far away from being one that can actaully keep us in ballgames - and it would be nice to continue and try to upgrade that's all.

Jay Glazer of Sportsline.com reports the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a deal with free agent DE Chidi Ahanotu (Bills). Terms of the agreement were undisclosed.

Wow. In all truth, I'm totally stunned by all this.

At least now we'll get the chance to compare the production exactly between Chidi and Fred Wakefield through the season against essentially the same oppoenents.

Well done, Graves. The 49ers haven't signed a free agent all offseason!
