Everyone keeps saying this was such a great Super Bowl. I watched the whole thing and I just don't see it.

The tension built..... but in the end, mistakes are what I remember... Not great plays.

Booth Holding
Ninkovich defensive offsides on 3rd down.
Welker dropping the pass. Antrell screwed up the coverage something fierce on this play.
Bradshaw falling into the endzone.

Not impressed.

I guess a dramatic finish to the game overrides the overall lameness of the game in their eyes. All the final few minutes of the game did for me was tick me off.

That's what I was thinking. Just because a game is close and comes down to Hail Marys at the end doesn't make it a good game.

Completely agree. But at least this year there wasn't a single mention of the former Green Bay QB who shall remain nameless. That gives the game an extra point in my book.

Truthfully, I think he tried as hard as he could to stop on the one yard line. He just had too much momentum and it went against the grain to not just waltz in.

Talk about having a brass set. Letting Bradshaw score like that required a hugh set. I wonder if any of our coaches would have been willing to try that?

I get it; as well as the more balanced Giants get another SB ring. 40 passes to 28 runs beats 41 passes to 19 runs most of the time.

2:1 pass/run ratio and losing should not surprise Cardinal Fans.

THE game was pretty pedestrian and Collingworthless was way over selling the Manningham catch. VERY NICE CATCH? YES. THE GREATEST CATCH IN SUPERBOWL HISTORY? LOL.
