Next year is our turn to win the Superbowl. All we need is a good qb
If history is repeating, it's more like our turn to lose in agonizing/heartbreaking fashion again.

I don't think I'll ever watch that Superbowl again.

Brady has become Payton Manning. He's putting up great stats in the regular season but not getting it done in the playoffs.

I know the right play is to fall at the one there and not score, but I also firmly believe you take the effing points and play defense. Score, and you are up, you have less than a minute to go. Kneel and you are in a situation where a mis-snap or a bad hold means you lose the game.

It's an interesting position, but I like taking the points and the lead in crunch time.

:LMAO:

I would say 3 SB rings and two other SB appearances with last second losses isnt exactly a legacy of "not getting it done"

But hey thats me.

Big deal. Brady is overrated. 0-5 on passes 20 yards or greater tonight. That's all you need to know about Brady. The bulk of his passes are short, high percentage passes thrown to big guys in soft spots in the zone that blow up defensive players. That's why NE never had any superstars at WR other Randy Moss. They don't need them. All Brady has to do is throw a three yard out pattern to a 6'5" 270lb TE and they do all the work. Whether its Gronk, Watson or Hernandez. I'm so sick of people saying Brady is the best or top 3 QB's ever to play the game. He's not. His numbers are grossly exaggerated by the QB friendly system he plays in, coupled with a weak ass division for most of his careerr and he won 3 SB's by the skin of his teeth because his HC cheated.

Smel I would take Roethlisberger, Rodgers, both Mannings, Rivers, Stafford, Cutler, Brees, and Flaco over Brady in the pinnacle of his career. Matt freaking Cassel went 11-5 in that system. If Brady played anywhere else other than NE and that system no way are people talking about him as one of the best ever.

hmm

The TD's in a season record? 18 and 0? 5 Sb 3 wins? Your a tough sell, I guess you don't think much of Beanie either?

I disagree on many different grading levels. Tom Brady is very very elite.

Smel that 18-0 season was a joke. They played a lot of bad teams that year. In fact if memory serves that was the year MIA went 1-15, the Bills sucked and the Jets weren't very good either. Without a doubt Brady will go to the HOF and set some impressive records. Some of his numbers though are very much skewed by the system he plays in. It's like a ball player hitting 800 HRs because his home field had a center field that was only 350'. At least that's how I look at it.

OK

You win already me and the whole free world are idiots! :mulli:
the run game and time of possesion is the main difference in this superbowl, The Patriots had a better run average but no will to run.

No, I don't think you're an idiot at all, I made a claim and backed it up by what I see, that's all. Some disagree and do so by making big laughing emoticons, I just chose to lay out examples of things I noticed watching Brady play every week in his NFL career. It's all good!
