They are discussing it now on ESPN. Anybody know what they’re saying I don’t have sound at the gym.

Can't wait to have some games flexed for Sunday Night Football.

Fully expect the Whiners game for sure and maybe one more.

I think this version of Murray is more ready for the big stage. We'll see.

Unfortunately his detractors (or skeptics) can still argue he hasn't played well in a really important game at the professional level. It's a thing unfortunately.

Lets get there first then talk about how he will do.

We have only been to the playoffs 7 times since the Cards moved here one of those by K1

I don't like having to wait all day to watch the game - but preparing for a game that's been moved to prime time has to be more like preparing for a playoff game which could be good for us

but id still rather have the division locked up and rest certain starters when we see the whiners again

I like where your heads at.

The Whiners do have a much more difficult schedule down the stretch so you might be right.

I only count 6.

1998 Plummer - beat the Cowboys, lost to the Vikings
2008 Warner - beat the Falcons, Panthers, and Eagles, lost to the Steelers in the Super Bowl
2009 Warner - beat the Packers, lost to the Saints (SB winner)
2014 Palmer - lost to the Panthers
2015 Palmer - beat the Packers, lost to the Panthers (SB loser)
2021 Murray - lost to the Rams (SB winner)

My bad must have counted an extra one.

Such a sad history.

We in agreement that even though Kyler & Kliff have/had their own individual problems, Steve Keim the main problem, correct?
For sure. We might still have Kliff if Keim had resigned Reddick/Campbell, drafted DK/Terry instead of Isabella, drafted Lamb/Wirfs instead of Simmons, and drafted Linderbaum instead of trading for Hollywood.

I was thinking about making a will things be different to end the year thread.

2020 and 2021 had very positive positive results the 1st 10 games. Guys like Keim and Kliff are gone. I used injuries to Kyler (2020) and DHop (2021) back in the day to defend or excuse those rough stretches. However, we're healthy now (knock on wood) and he's too old and highly paid to defend not getting it done now anyway.

I think how they respond after the bye will tell us a lot about Kyler and this team. Imo we NEED to win the next two games to secure the playoffs. 49ers are still talented enough to flip a switch and be dominant. We already lost tiebreakers to the Packers/Commanders. Cant afford losing another to the Vikings potentially. Win the next 2 and we may very well run the table until the last two and who knows...

Maybe Stout or Brit will make that thread anyway.

I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head as to why he is no longer the GM LOL ! !

BIM didn't answer but i really hope there was a lot of fanfare for reaching #3 all time during a low stress ass kicking of the other team.

If not...man Michael what are you doing

I don't remember any delays on the broadcast or play stoppage? But I don't recall any over the decades of watching football either for #3 on a list or even #2 just being #1?

I definitely recall Palmer's stuff being on the board. It's usually during a TV timeout though so only the live crowd gets it.

Oh for sure listing on the board no doubt I was referring to game stoppage/delay to honor. I gotcha.
