... is if we were in a position to get D'Brickshaw. Then I would trade him and Arrington.

Do you think Houston would go for that?

Barry Sanders and Gale Sayers never won the big one for either Detroit or Chicago.......Bush is not our panacea, we need to build up the O-Line before suggesting we trade up for either Bush or Leinart.

But if you can build the O-Line through free agency, what a draw and what a dynamic back to have. Boldin, Fitz and Bush. That would be awesome when you've fixed your O-Line and have Warner back there in a domed stadium.

They wouldn't go for that.

I'd probably give Leonard Davis + swap picks and maybe give up a future pick ot Houston if I wanted to get Reggie Bush.

Despite his false starts, I don't think you can lose the time you put into Davis playing LT. At some point we have to stop the revolving door. We need stability and that only will come from keeping players in position. Add in the fact that you won't find a better LT in free agency, whereas guard is more likely. I also don't want to give up too much for Bush (there's a joke in there somewhere).

With Dom Davis and Jon Wells they have no need for JJ. We would need to give them picks and O-Linemen for sure.

Houston is not going to trade Reggie Bush. Nor is san Francisco. Like every year, the Cardinals have found themselves in a position where they are good enough to not get a shot at a probable franchise player and yet still bad enough to remain the laughingtock of the NFL.

As long as we are out of the top 10, were a good player can still be had by the way, and not paying huge bucks to a bonus baby, and am all for it. And the way we draft I dont mind being in the 10-15 range at all.

I agree that the revolving door must end, but in order to reach Reggie you have to give something the other team needs - a solid left tackle. He's our best offensive lineman, but still, that isn't saying much.

I'd give up the Big Red Tackle experiment for Reggie Bush. Without Davis or another valued player, you don't get Bush. I'd rather part with Davis than Adrian Wilson, Karlos Dansby, Darnell Dockett, or a wideout.

If the FO can pull in the FA linemen, we'll be fine without him. PLUS we get a running back who can run behind a bad line.

Kind of how I feel right now too, on ESPN they were comparing Bush to Michael Jordan and the announcer said nobody wants to be explaining 5 years later why they drafted Sam Bowie instead of Jordan.

Seriously doubt Houston will trade away Bush if they get the pick and you KNOW SF will take him if they manage to out suck Houston.

If we are smart we'll beat Houston the last thing we want is Bush being a 49er so we play him twice a year.

But if you were in position to get D'Brickshaw, wouldn't you trade him before trading Davis?

The problem is the only reason Houston would trade the rights to Bush is for something they need. Offering them an OL they could draft themselves(Ferguson) and JJ isn't enough, they already have Davis.

I think we'd have to offer 2 firsts to get close to getting Bush, or a first and Big and probably a #2 pick.

If I was in a position to get D'Brickshaw Ferguson, I'd pick him and pray that Laurence Maroney is available in the second. If not, Arrington better be able to run damnit.

Exactly.

But to answer your question, I'd still trade Davis because he'd be proven.

Don't go up for Bush..... He's got the Heisman jinx!!! LOL!!! I think it'd be funny if he knew he were going to houston that he just stays in one more year... That would be funny. But I doubt it... Brickshaw would be a good pick...

That would suck, but as an upside we'd get to see him play in person once a year.
