And when Conner gets stuffed with a predictable play you bitch about that call.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone bitch about slamming Conner - you know, one of the very best short yardage backs over the past two years - up into the middle on 3rd and short. Literally don’t think I’ve seen it once.

Conner was getting his yards off tackle in this game. He was not getting **** up the middle. If it didn’t work many would be criticizing for doing the obvious. I have seen criticism on this board for continually just running Conner up the middle when it wasn’t working.

In the general flow of the game, sure. Not in short yardage situations.

I don’t know about criticizing, but Connor was typically good for a yard no matter which hole he targeted.
