As a lifelong Suns fan, I'm sick of these moral victories.

They tried to sell me on this last season. "Hey the fact that Lebron even considered the suns is a huge moral victory!"

Now its the same SPIN with LMA.

We didn't get either player, so where is the victory? Next year when someone is a free agent are they going to say hey; LMA and LBJ passed on the suns, that really makes me want to play there.

I think it's more likely that they will say hey the suns are desperate they will make an offer, lets use them to apply pressure to the team I really want to go to. Like other guys clearly have.

The Suns used to be able to get their guy, (Jason Kidd, Barkley, Nash, Penny, Starberry) now we are satisfied just to be sitting next to the guy who gets asked to the dance. "Did you guys see that, she totally looked at me."

Not calling for anyones job, but lets call a spade a spade. It's the FO's job to get us players to be competitive, and to be competitive sooner or later you are going to have to get one of these franchise guys to bet on you, and they have failed in that task thus far.

Know what else happened? That other girl next door, the one we always ignored, just took off her glasses, shook out her hair, put on something skimpy, and ran away with someone else.

Plus, we just got an atomic wedgie from the Homecoming King for hitting on his girl.

I heard the guys on the radio talking about this vary topic. I kind of agree with them. It would have been a huge milestone had the team been able to get LMA. Since we didn't it's more like a stepping stone or at least a sign we are headed in the right direction.

In your analogy it's sort of like coming off like a royal jerk in the past and none of the pretty ones will talk to you. Now you are trying to change and your being considered again. I will take that.

True, ok I don't want them to quit, I just want them to step their game up. Maybe the girl next door thinks we are a little chubby or something. . Maybe we just need a cooler car
