I am amazed we were able to send these away without giving up picks. So much for Marcus having negative value. Granger might not be able to play and he was owed 2 mil plus. Wow.

Exactly.

Yahoo Sources: Another high-profile team is pursuing the possibility of gaining an audience with LaMarcus Aldridge: The Miami Heat.

Phoenix Fans are so getting blue-balled again. Peyton, AP... now it's the Suns turn and I'm going to kill Birdman if this happens (even though he never posts here).

Thanks for peeling off the scab of old wounds cheese. LOL.

I'm hoping the Suns have another plan if this falls apart with Aldridge. This bouncing around is starting to bother me.

Still, the Suns unloaded what might be considered filler.

How in the world could they create the cap space? Even if they renounced their bird rights on Wade they still would be like 5 million short of an offer.

I do think the Suns liked the idea of getting rid of the Marcus Morris, Granger and Bullock contracts to free some money even if Aldridge is not part of the equation.

I think we are fine where we are even without Alderidge. We can sign minimimum players for depth. We traded away Marcus without giving up anything and that means Warren gets more burn. Bullock was never part of our plans and we still keep Archie and Booker.

I don't really see a downside here.

The Lakers have expressed a desire to get a second meeting with Aldridge, but unclear if that'll happen, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Aldridge felt first meeting with Lakers was too focused on non-basketball (Hollywood, branding, etc) and Lakers want to rectify it.

LOL. That's what I was referring too. They were clinging at straws trying to write-off our chances because we had not moved contracts.

I guess that's dead.

I don't see the downside for the players the Suns gave up. Actually it was incredible the Suns got a second round pick out of the deal. At first glance, one would think the Suns might have to send out a first round pick or two.

Totally agree...We added Chandler and got rid of Marcus, while picking up a 2nd round pick... Seriously?? I really, REALLY like McDonough!!! ;)

Gotta admit, I was curious what Granger might bring to the table, but now with Granger and Marcus gone, TJ is going to get lots of pt. Cannot see how that is a bad thing.

I tried not to get excited and told myself it was all BS, I tried to remain skeptical. I'm fully erect and on the hype train baby! F5'ing like a madman getting nothing done today.

Dude. Take the afternoon off and go get a pedicure or something, and maybe we can get this thing wrapped up.

No kidding, I'll pitch in for whatever activity you decide to go for.

Miami is going to ruin this I just freaking know it.

I don't see how. They don't have the cap space and that is without even paying Wade a cent. They'd have to work out a sign and trade with Portland and I don't see any chance Portland decides to take back 20 million in salary from the Heat.

I still think its the Spurs vs us.
