No-one believes we can win even when we are winning. There is such a quick rush to give up and lose faith. I mean how many of you really thought we were going to make that field goal? It went downhill after the first Dtouchdown. There is too much negative energy on this team, organization and throughout the fans.
The only person who truly believes is Matt Leinart and a few others. I pray to god he doesn't end up like so many others.
I don't know who to blame, we are all to blame. This is the best worst team we have had here. Are we truly cursed?

It's the players that have to believe, they don't, I don't think Matt will be broken, he just will not be broken and he will prevail, folks he knows it's not him, he knows he makes good reads and does his job, he's a rookie but eventually that mojo will seep into the others it just will.

The cused question's been asked a lot.

I know what you're saying about not truely beliving though. When the Cardinals are up, I'm up. I can feel my pulse at the back of my skull and while it's happening I just can't believe they're actually winning.

I think that's a problem, fans of good football teams (and even fans of some bad ones) expect to win every Sunday.

I expect them to win Mon-Sat and then hope like hell on Sundays.

I wouldn't think that mentality could exsist with the players themselves but you never know.

You better HOPE your right conrad.

The cardinals monstrosity is threatening the balance of the universe at this point.

They are in danger of ripping the very fabric of time and space apart with their sanity defying implosions.

I liken it to being in a car accident, when your car is spinning out of control, you see a pole and think "dont hit the pole, dont hit the pole", you are so fixated on it, that you sort of end up guiding your car into the pole (there is a term for it, I cant recall what though). This is the Cardinals problem, they are so focused on "dont lose" instead of "win", that the end up losing.

Well that attitude is riding high now but it won't forever, they will break through, they are in a huge hole but at least they got a guy who knows the way out.

that's what they said about Jesus - Matt will take the same beating Jesus took in his first life in the NFL and when he's resurrected and given new life on a new team, he will lead them to the promised land.

and i don't even believe in Jesus - but I do think the stories will be parallel.

I happen to agree. I only hope they can get a competent front office and coaching staff in place before Leinart starts making some shmuck look good.

They said this team was fighting with itself and it is, why blame anyone but the dude getting the honking check?

I think you have to look at this game and say over the last few games who's to blame?

Who is part of the problem, I'll tell you who isn't part of the problem, Leinart, the defense, Boldin, Fitzgerald, they all have one thing in common, mostly they aren't the problem.

So start cutting out the freakin problem instead of jawing about it just do it, for one I'd bench Edge, I'd cut Rackers and I'd cut Player with him, sign the kid punter find any kicker out there and cut Ross.

That's a start.

The ownership has turned the corner, I'll even give them the screw up on spending on the line but after this game it should shred all doubt what needs to be done.

Whatever is done the line must be fixed, that's job one, actually it's co job one with cutting people like Ross and Rackers and Player, that's a great start right there.

I would hardly say they have turned the corner. I think they are taking baby steps. However, until old man Bidwill is out of the picture, I don't think the team will ever turn the corner.

I am sorry, but whoever still believes that the Cards can win a game like this is a ****ing moron. Get out of here with that negative energy bull. And you know it is bull; that is the worst part. This franchise is the armpit of professional sports and you are advocating 'positive thinking.' Seriously, I want whatever pot you are smoking because that has to be some fantastic stuff. This game had nothing to do with the fan's thinking or the feeling on the field. This game was lost because the Cardnials are a joke. The players they draft do not try to make an impact with the team because it is a lost cause. It is on par with scooping buckets of water off the sinking Titanic.

PS My posting has been affected by the 'negative' thought on this BBS. Thus, I should not be held responsible for said postings. Just like the Cardnial players should not be responsible for their massive letdown tonight.
