Any coach who condones that slant tackle defense in a 4-3 is an idiot. Green needs to go.

Defense wasnt the reason this game was lost. Giving up 10 points in a game where the offense turns the ball over four times is pretty good defense.

Put the blame squarely on the special teams and the lack of a running game.

I know why we lost and it is all my fault.

I saw the Back Judge (BJ) get knocked out cold and laughed and we started a chant that said "Karma sucks, Karma sucks." Next thing I know the Redskins are returning a Kickoff for a touchdown. I turned to my buddy and said, "Karma sucks man."

:bang:

I had fun at the game though. I think sometimes arguing about why a 4-9 team lost is like picking peanuts out of monkey crap.

ThE D played very well today. Holding Portis to 100 yards says a lot. Last week behind the same O-line he had over 200 I believe. Yes that last run by Portis ended the game. But we lost the game before that play. I agree that the 4th and two should have gotten us a 1st down. Davis was pulling and JJ didn't see him and continued to drag it out wide. Throw for it run for it? The defense was expecting pass. I don't blame Green.

Look at the stats. We averaged more Yards per play. Had the same amount of playes. We kept them down to a tad over 200 yards for the game and we were over 300 yards. Darling had a great game and the line held tough on run plays. The Q push out was a very bad call. It should have been a catch, but you can't challange that play, Judgment, Bad judgment. JJ's fumble , sad because he had made the 1st down. I would have put the kid right back in, but I never coached a pro team.

Warner was cat quick. Held the ball the first two fumbles to long. The O-line didn't give him much time but he kept finding guys. THE TD was very pretty to number 19 and seeing Rackers back was great. IMO we are very close. We lost this on teh return. Had Rackers been healthy it would have gone further and higher, but he wasn't. The crowd was great and I look foward to seeing them next week against Houston and back home against the Eagles. If we play this hard we can win both those games. I want to say thanks to the team for showing up against a tough Skins team and for making it exciting till the last snap.

Who said anything about the defense being the reason the game was lost?

Win or lose that slant tackle defense is stupid in a 4-3 set and any coach who can't see that needs to get his can fired because that's not going to be the only thing they mess up.

Watching the Skins RG simply shove the angled NT 3 yards sideways as Portis runs through the hole for the clinching first down made me sick.

It would help if Cardinal fans would show up to the game before the opening kickoff. I'm sure the guys appreciate the opposing team getting louder cheers during introductions than they do.

On that clinching 1st down our LBs had a shot to stop him and didn't, it wasn't our NT getting shoved plain and simple. Also, Thomas is on of the best Gs in the NFL, so I really don't see how Kolo stands a chance against him anyway.

That's BS. The Guard just stood up and nonchalantly shoved K out of the way. It was effortless. I could have done it.
