Tango - I've got to ask why a deer is inside of your house. Were you watching a movie together (note the credits scrolling on the TV)?
Actually there's quite a story there.
The "house" is my sister and Brother-in-laws. They live out in the mountains here in the Idaho Wilderness.
The day I moved here from Phoenix, on the way home from helping me unload my U-haul, my neice found the deer as a young fawn beside the road, it was standing beside it's mother who had been hit and killed by a car. So my sister's family took it in, raised it on goat's milk until it was old enough to eat other things. It became quite tame, and would actually sleep with the dogs.
This pic was taken at thanksgiving. A couple of months later it was killed by a pack of wolves on my Sis's ranch in the deep snow.
...and the dog is my mother's "Jiggs". Together we take care of mom who has Alzheimer's. (That's why I retired and moved here).
