VY: 8-0 last 8 starts; you cant argue with that...

The team is on a mission and did win 13 in a row last season. They will be bringing it big time vs. Cards...

Lets see this season Young is completing over 65% of his passes for 7.6 yds a pop...those aren't chump numbers. Thats more per pass than Warner and he isn't exactly throwing to Fitz, Boldin & Breaston and a higher completion % than E. Manning, McNabb, Palmer, Rivers & Rodgers. Yes its over fewer games but thats not exactly his fault. Oh yeah his team is 3-0 in games he starts

People want Young to fail so badly they fail to see exactly what this guy is doing. He still has some growing to do but he is a decent QB.

Where this "negative football IQ" comes from is beyond me.

If the refs allow the Titans o-line to hold like they did all game vs. the Texans tonight, we're in for a tough game. Their center Mahwe is a particularily dirty player.

Vince Young's stat line tonight.

Whereas Chris Johnson had 29 Carries for 151 yards and a 5.2 YPC and carried the Titans in the 2nd half and who do they credit with the win and interview after the game?

Vince Young...

They Scare Me...

The Titans are an undisciplined team's worst nightmare.

Vince Young will make us pay if our D can't contain him. A scrambling QB has always been a weakness for us. Especially on 3rd downs. It will be a frustrating day.

When all else fails, they take cheap shots and induce stupid penalties from the opponent. Finnegan is the dirtiest moron player in the league. I think he'll take his shot at Fitz, hoping to hurt him. Wait and see. Fitz will burn him on a play and Finnegan will do something after the play to incite the Cards players. Guaranteed. Oh, and then the announcers will dismiss it as being "scrappy".

Mawae tried cut a guy's leg out from under him today in another cheap shot. Again, they are a dirty team. Apparently, hurting players is a part of their game plan too.

Their D prides themselves on getting pressure with their front 4. That is bad news for Kurt. Our OL has to step up big and force them to blitz.

I've been dreading this game ever since the schedule came out. I swear to God, the Titans will do something that may end up costing us all the way into the Vikings game. Our team just isn't disciplined enough to just let our talent doing the talking.

We are the better team. Play action can pick them apart. Beanie could have a big game. We just have to keep our cool, jump on them early, and force VY to beat us with the pass.

Same old Vince Young. Not impressed by him at all and I come away from this game thinking the Cardinals are going to crush the Titans next week.

The Texans are just weak. They have Andre Johnson but Schaub has continued to underperform. I lost track of how many underthrown and badly thrown balls he had tonight and it wasn't due to enormous pressure.

Also, Kris Brown just plain sucks. Two missed FG's was the difference in the game.

If Warner's got his marbles, Cardinals will win by 10+ next week.

Karlos Dansby will be the key. He'll have to follow Young on every play.

That is what Young does to a defense. He makes them play 11 on 11. Defenses do not have to assign a player to cover Warner so they can play 11 on 10. But the Cards are so good they win anyway. :D

He never would have struggled as much if the Titans would have just let him run more. Who cares if he gets hurt? If you don't let him run he's going to be on the bench anyway.

I am not saying Young is a great QB I just think people need to give credit where its due, he did enough to help his team win and did nothing to cost him team the game (like Cutler).

He is still fairly young and has a chance to develop in to a very good QB who is a threat with both legs and arm...he has a great RB back there with him give him a good WR or 2 before you completely judge him.

Im not taking this team lightly. I knew when they were 0-6 that they were much better than their record. They have IMO the best RB in the league, a QB with a new found swagger and a quality head coach in Fischer, who won't let his guys quit on a season. They will put up a fight. Our best chance of pulling off a win is to score a lot of points early and turn VY into a throwing QB.

By no means am I taking the Titans lightly.

That being said, game planning for them is pretty simple. The Texans had NO answer for Vince Young's scrambling tonight which is pathetic. How do you not gameplan for that?

If the Cardinals let him do that to us then Davis needs to go. MAKE the Titans beat you some other way.

People who understimate the Titans are mistaken. I predict they finish 9-7 & possibly get in.

Not many teams have had an answer for Vince Young's scrambling. Just like not many teams have found a way to stop Johnson's running or the Cards Air attack.

C'mon, don't cry foul about Young not getting due credit and then say that he did nothing to hurt his team. He fumbled the ball away without getting hit and threw two passes that should have been intercepted in addition to being completely ineffective throwing the ball in the 2nd half.

This is what annoys me about the Vick/Young/whoever arguments. "He just wins" is not an argument. Did Young cause Schaub to throw poorly all night? Did Young make Kris Brown miss 2 field goals?

The Titans scored a whopping 17 points.

"He just wins" makes sense to me , or "he wins ugly".. 22-11 is pretty damn good no matter what else you may think about the guy and we'd be foolish to look at records getting ready for next week. they need to think they are playing last year;s version of the Titans, for that would be prudent and what good teams do; realize you get the team's best each week.

Chris Johnson takes me back to 84 & 85 remembering Eric Dickerson.I think this guy can break his record. If not this year next year. You can't really win in this league without being able to pass but it sure is pretty to watch.LMAO

The 85 Bears had something to show the rams in the NFC Championship game when offensive running game met a real defense. It was embarrassing.

We need to play more safeties this game and play man to man on the recievers. They use two tight ends and we seem to have trouble with them.Don't use A-Dub as a spy.Put him everywhere on every play so they have no idea what we are doing with him.

I really hope Okeafor is back for this game.We won't play anyone else like this for the rest of the season so its not like a team we'll plan to see again in the playoffs. This is gonna take us out of our comfort zones but we can and will do it.It may be a bunch of dump off passing to THT but That will work too if they want to put KVB all over the place rushing.

I've seen the texans blow more games this year than any other team.It was horrible.Slaton really messed up bigtime for the texans tonight. He can't catch.Thats why they went to his backup in two other games and won.

Now the Jags have MAJOR incentive while playing the 9ers this Sunday. It put the Jags back right into the mix. They play the same game the 9ers play run the ball with one tough lil' guy and throw to the tight end.Could be a good game.I like that Garrard can run too.

I hope Coach Davis is working his azz off right now after this game trying to gameplan for this bunch in Nashville.I also hope we get our guys back for this game this week.I want to find out about McFadden and Okeafor and anyone else I have'nt heard about yet.Gandy needs to really be up for this game. They have real good lb's so we're gonna need next level blocking from our O-line.Total team play.

Can't believe Shaub had such a bad game against them.He was highly ranked going in against a very low ranked passing defense.Who woke these suckers up anyway? Its too late for them to make the playoffs. No way can they run the table and make it.The CARDINALS are one reason they won't make it.We're gonna continue our ROAD WARRIOR tour "09" in Nashville.:) The titans have one less day to prepare for the TRIO this week and then Beanie and THT too.

Bironas missed one long FG too but that dude can kick em' from way out.I hope somehow shutting C.Johnson down will help us for the next week against All Day.Could'nt hurt.Johnson goes down much easier once contact is made than AP does.

I was hoping for overtime to wear out the Titans at least a little bit.

IMO it comes down to Warner. If he is OK and plays effectively, then we march up and down the field and put up a lot of points. The last high powered offense they played put 59 on the board against them. VY and CJ should not be able to match us.

Keep in mind their four wins are against Jacksonville, Buffalo, the 49ers, and now Houston. Not exactly powerhouses and none of them are winning teams.

However, if KW can't go and Leinart gets the start, then I'm not as confident and the game will be a dogfight. I hope Matt gets lots of reps with the first team this week.

I never thought they were, and with VY back leading the team (despite his unorthodox QB-ing) it is by no means a walk in the park.

TN does not scare me, but the defense has to slow down Johnson and keep Young in the pocket. Once he breaks the pocket, he is off to the races. That is where TN was killing the Texans, with Young escaping the pocket and running for first downs.

The Cardinals offense should score at will on TN. Their pass defense is porous at best. If the defense can just slow down Young and Johnson Cards should come away with a W. And if Darnell can get Young riled up early and off his game so much the better. :D

This game will be decided by time of possession. Since Young took over, the Titans have an almost 8 minute advantage over their opponents. This will be a great game, a very physical game. My concern is that we will have more casualties going into the Minnesota game.
