Just watched the episode where Rick finds his family and they go back to look for merl. What a great episode. Fun to watch again being so far in the future.

Makes me even more disappointed in the pace of fear the walking dead. They showed a fear trailer during a commercial break and the trailer pretty much summed up every zombie scene in the show over 5 damn episodes in that 20 second spot

solid premiere probably made 10x better simply because of how awful Fear was.

Raises some interesting questions. Some think Nagen is making his appearance but the ending of this episode, to me, doesn't look like his style. I'm guessing the Wolves from last season.

Agreed. It's like those Jelly bean games with the really awful flavors. You eat enough bad ones and when you get a regular one? Taste 10x better than it probably would have otherwise.

Great episode. Didn't think the end would turn that way. Things could get really bad real fast

Am I the only one who doesn't understand how Morgan is still alive? Yes he is really good with a stick but one pistol shot and he is toast.

Should be interesting when the walkers hit the town. Although the truck horn wasn't on that long. So why didn't the guys in the car just honk their horn to draw the walkers back to the street?

That pistol he let those guys get their hands on is going to end up being used to kill one of the characters.

Also, what was with those guys? They would kill someone and then just stand there, hacking away. If they were there to loot, why just stand over bodies hacking away for 20 minutes?

yeah really bizarre. Made no sense to sit there and just hack away.

good action packed episode. Carol's freaking Rambo in this show. Morgan's way of life does not exist in this dojo.

I was really disappointed in the way they are making Morgan's character go. His situation is similar to Carol--in fact, being on his own, I'd think he was MORE extreme than Carol ever could be because even after losing her family, she's had the group to lean on. Morgan has nobody. I understand why they made him a pacifist in the context of the group, just don't agree with it.

He was already MORE than extreme: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clear_(The_Walking_Dead)

This is him approaching some kind of center where he wasn't the coward he felt he was when he couldn't shoot his already dead wife, and not the nihilistic bastard he became after he lost his son to his dead wife.

Morgan was driving me nuts with his pacifism but I was also at the edge of my seat for him to whip asses. I think he might change a bit after this. I don't think he has dealt with the horrors of mankind as much as the others.

The horn thing perplexed me, also it seemed Morgan got a 5 minute head start on the last episode but the group never arrived during the attack. I kept expecting Rick to show up blowing heads off.

This madness ended only for me to remember there is a MUCH bigger problem in route unless killing the horn help redirect the horde

100% agree on the gun. Disappointed in Morgan to let that happen. The wolves aren't going away and are sick puppies, someone will die and soon. I'm just glad Carol didn't get shot while dressing as a wolf. Her act of being nice while we know who she has really become is compelling. I love Carol now, didn't before.

The wolves are just sick as far as the chopping up people, these are the same people that led the hiker to their lair and then slit his throat to feed him to zombies in season 5

One of the best episodes ever I feel but I just turned it off, you know how immediate feelings go. That was tense, full of action and had me vocal in my living room, this show is amazing

Agreed. Part of what bothers me so much Is he was nearly a monster the last time we saw him and now he is hog tying people while others are being bludgeoned in the streets. Kill the guy and move on.

My thoughts: Carol is amazing

The girls back story was cool to see

I like Morgan a lot and hope he gets with there program soon.

The blonde mom might become a trooper. When her son got saved I was hoping it was Rick who shot the guy to earn some validation. The kid getting mad the girl was with Carl while everyone being murdered was petty. Petty people are a problem.

Up next, thousands of zombies come to ruin suburbia.

A friend brought up this morning that maybe between when he was psychotic and now something major happened that caused him to be as passive as he is and again, maybe this experience helped him snap back out of it. It did appear that he killed the final wolf.
