yeah really bizarre. Made no sense to sit there and just hack away.

It is not shown how he stumbled upon the Wolves, after Daryl and Aaron lost him. He was brought by the Wolves to their headquarters, only to have his throat slit by their leader. His body was then left to reanimate in the Wolves headquarters.

These people likely have a feeling that humans no longer belong on earth or something of that nature, simply brutal killers.

I guess I am in the minority about Morgan. I actually think he creates a balance for the show. Everybody has seemed to go to the extreme or the point of no return. I mean the group is just a few steps away from previous groups that we have seen take advantage of Rick and company. I think Morgan pulls them back.

At any rate, it's funny how we are only a few episodes in and this show just obliterates Fear of the Walking Dead and it's not even close.

IVe heard this often, that rick is near the governor at this point. I really just don't see it. The governor would run around finding camps just to murder everyone and take what they have. Rick may be quick to violence but it is for protection, not to simply kill you for no reason or simply to take your stuff.

While I like that Morgan will bring a little balance, I just feel he is TOO passive. To sit around tying up a bad guy while people are being butchered in the streets by his cohorts is asinine in this scenario.

The wolves are just sick as far as the chopping up people, these are the same people that led the hiker to their lair and then slit his throat to feed him to zombies in season 5

Not to nitpick but this would be incorrect. The hiker got his throat slit to kill him because at the end of the episode when they were putting the zombies back into the trucks, we see the hiker zombified walking around.

He was looking for a reason to off Pete and killing Deanna's husband was the catalyst.

I'm not saying Rick was wrong in killing him when he did but killing a guy just because he abused his family is a tad barbaric. They were trying to set up a society and should have had a trial for him with the worst sentence being banishment. He was needed as a surgeon even though he was a scumbag.

Am I missing something here? I thought Pete was killed because he killed Deanna's husband, so Deanna gave the go ahead to Rick for it.

damn. I kinda felt like that was coming, but still... damn.

(edit: I just read a theory so incoherently offensive to the audience... yet plausible, that if it comes to fruition, I will literally stop watching the show.)

this three episode start to the season has been amongst the best work the show has ever done... which makes it all the more odd that it's finally starting to decline in it's outrageous ratings (which isn't to say the ratings aren't still MASSIVE, but they have been declining this season versus last year).

A show can't stay a phenomenon forever.

I read that a similar number are still watching but many are now recording and watching later. Its not the Sunday night event anymore.

At first I was completely shocked! Then something dawned on me. Something doesn't add up.

I re-watched the scene again and the camera framed that scene very very carefully. The shot was very tight. I noticed that at no point and time do you actually see Glenn getting bit or torn apart. You see someone getting bit or torn apart but I think it could be Nick. Although, I don't see how that would save Glenn because I think you have to cover yourself in Zombie blood not live human blood to mask yourself from the Walkers. So, I ruled that out.

So, that got me thinking. They went out of their way earlier in the episode to show that Glenn had a flare right? What if Zombies chomping on Nick give him just a moment to fire a flare? We already know they congregate to the flares. He just needs enough of them to get distracted. It's very plausible IMO.

The other thing that I thought of is Nick kept zoning out throughout the episode. It's very possible that when we see Nick blow his brains out he is hallucinating. However, I hope it's not that. We have seen "dream" type scenarios so many times before and they are always cop-outs.

He was killed for killing Deanna's husband but Rick was looking for an excuse to kill him and him killing Deanna's husband was just the catalyst he needed.

As for last night:

Glenn, as per the comics, is supposed to die but by Negan's hand and not the walkers. His death in the comics is more cruel and more epic than going out like this. If he dies in any other manner than how he dies in the comics, I will be extremely displeased.

Glenn's not dead. I immediately thought that. After all, he wasn't on Talking Dead and we know the other dude landed on top of him. If he magically escapes like he did in the season finale last year, it will piss Cheesebeef off.

Glenn still has that flare gun on him, and we already know the herd flock to it.

But we'll see.

I think he fires the flare, then crawls under that dumpster. If he were really dead, he'd be on talking. They are beating this tarp too many times. I was devastated, then realized that's not gonna be how it breaks.

I think it's plausible, and not far-fetched, that Glenn manages to slide under the dumpster while the walkers are occupied feasting on the dead body and holds out until they finish and leave
