I wouldn't count on the comics too much. Considering that by now, in the comics, they would have found the prison already and Shane was already turned and Rick had lost his hand. They're going out of left field now.
Yes, but the no bites thing kind of lines up with it so I'd wager that's where they're heading.

Don't know if you all saw this but apparently AMC did a major faux pas and spoiled something I mentioned(I said that it didn't happen but apparently it's going to happen). AMC has since taken down the item(I'm guessing as the AMC store was down much of the day). Here is a link to the story. Don't click on it if you don't want the spoiler contained in. http://www.eonline.com/news/watch_with_kristin/huge_walking_dead_spoiler_alert_amc/298137

Well, here's my opinion:

Well, that is a shame, since Shane is probably the most interesting character on the show. That might just kill the show off for me, because it's been all the tension surrounding him that's drive its success this half of the season.

LOL.

Seriously, Stout, How many times have you threatened to not watch the show anymore? How long until you're "totally out?"

It's really gotten to the point of absurdity (in a funny way)! It's like you're a character with a catch phrase. :)

Well, you can't spell "Stout" without "out." :D

Damn skippy! :D The first season was just good enough to bring me back to try the second. The first half of this season was just plain awful. The only reason I tried the next episode was because they had one lone 1/2 of a good episode at the end. I decided to come back...and it's been way better so far. I just don't want them to...well, you know...spoiler. I mean, they're still making idiotic decisions, and Rick is the same vacillating idiot that he's been for a long time, and the group is indeed broken, but the episodes are good thus far.

The writing for Karl and his acting leaves a lot to be desired.

Do you all think they're going to go so far as to have Hershel's daughters get decapitated in the prison?

Strange to watch Dale get gutted for 40 minutes only to then have him literally gutted in the final 3.

The show seems to spin its wheel for a good chunk of each episode in debating the world they live in.

Wrapping this up as a spoiler would have been nice.

Especially when they had other characters I would rather see go.....*cough* Rick's wife...*cough*.

Unreal. I am shocked but it was a great episode. The only thing is that one character was the heart of the group and the other was a constant source of friction which added to the group dynamic. I just can't see how losing these 2 characters helps the show one bit. I guess I will have to wait.....awesome episode.

By the way....those that called the virus being airborne?? I think you nailed it. How else do you explain the "resurrection" at the end of the episode?? The other thing is...I wonder why Dale didn't come back then????

Because they shot him in the head. I am guessing that not only is a head a zombie killer it is also a zombie preventer.

You are right. I completely forgot that they put him out of his misery. Wow....now every single time someone dies....they are going to have to spend a bullet. However, the part I am still wondering about is if the virus is airborne...technically you don't have to be dead for the virus to take you. We have seen the virus infect those bitten.

So....if it was airborne....anybody could be infected any time. I wonder if Shane already started to turn when he was having that little breakdown in the barn.

Many questions.......
