I saw a replay of that scene in Talking Dead, and it appeared to be a concussion grenade. It has a lot less thicker shell than a frag, and has more overall explosive power than a frag, since it's relying on the explosion rather than the fragmentation for injuries and kills.

Yeah but concussion grenades don't explode in that manner and when they do, they certainly don't have the power to send a guy reeling and get impaled on metal let alone blast open a fence door more than 50 feet away. There isn't anywhere near the amount of Comp B there to cause that to happen.

Wow...just caught up. Why did they have to take "Chris" out like that? LOL. Talk about graphic. I don't think they could have used anymore blood in that scene.

I was actually kind of surprised at the death because we were just getting to know him. However, I am really liking this season.

His death scene looked like a homage to Day of the Dead Cap't Rhodes' death scene.

Yeah it was brutal. Even the throwing him up against the glass just to put it in Glenn's face was...DAMN!

Then the point stands that a bullet isn't going to pierce a frag grenade and even if it did, it wouldn't explode and even if it did, it wouldn't have a blast like that. Not enough to blast open a fence 50 feet away.

this is a show about Zombies.

this is a show about Zombies.

One of the things I would have liked to see with this show, in regards to zombies, would have some consistency.

-Sometimes they're fast, sometimes they're slow.
-Sometimes they can rend a horse limb-from-limb, sometimes they can't keep a grip on a 13 year old's ankle.
-Sometimes they're quiet as church mice, sometimes you hear them a mile away.
-Sometimes they smell you from a mile away, sometimes you can walk right past them.
-Sometimes they lay in wait (for indefinite periods of time) like ninjas, sometimes they're buffoons like my uncle Heshie.

And shouldn't the vast majority of these things be starved to death by now?

I realize that the zombies are really just background thematically, and that it's the interaction between the characters that's the thing...but many times I find them to be nothing more than plot contrivances.

Just saying...

One thing that bothered me early on(season 2) was that in one episode, Shane, as well as others, shot up a whole drove of walkers Hershel and his family were keeping in the barn and it didn't draw the attention of one single walker, however, when Carl used one shot to take out Zombie Shane, it attracted every walker in a 10 mile radius to the farm. Using simple math, 50 shots attracted nothing, 1 shot attracted 100.

again, the Alexandria stuff has been great.

I completely agree. Sucks it's coming to an end. The fact that they are all struggling for some normalcy after searching for it for so long has been a great dynamic this season.

Can't wait for the finale.

I have a feeling the group will be split into two separate factions one with Rick Daryl and carol then one with Micheon Glenn where they eventually split and turn their back on Rick to be apart of society

I kind of feel for people to be pissed, Darryl will side with the Alexandrians.

Something tells me it's not going to be that simple. Maybe what they mean is people are going to be pissed because the group basically pisses away a good situation for Rick. Not that nobody is going to die but that it could have worked and they sort of sabotaged themselves in the process.
